Nintendo has announced that a new game mode called Tower Control will be added to Splatoon at 7pm PT/10pm ET on July 1. The new mode will be added to Ranked Battle alongside Splat Zones. The objective of Tower Control is to ride a single floating tower into the enemy’s base. The tower starts in the middle of the map, and starts moving when someone is aboard. However riding the tower makes you a big target for everyone on the opposing team. Tower Control is the second new mode which has been added to Splatoon. To read more on Splatoon click here.
