A Massive Update Coming To Splatoon In August

Nintendo has revealed that Splatoon will be receiving a massive update on August 5 for the U.S. and August 6, 2015 for Europe and Australia. The free update will bring 2 new matchmaking modes, 2 new weapon types, an increase to the game’s level cap from 20 to 50, the addition of rank S and S+, and more than 40 pieces of new gear. What else could you ask for ?  The 2 new matchmaking modes are called Squad Battle and Private Battle. Squad Battle allows players to play in ranked battles with friends on teams consisting of 2 to 4 inklings. Private Battle are fully customizable and will enable up to 8 players to play in a variety of match setups. 2 new weapons will be introduced, the bucket-like Slosher weapon and a 6-barrelled minigun known as the Splatling. You can see a trailer for weapons below. Its really awesome to se all theses updates for Splatoon. Remember back in May when Splatoon was releases and there wasn’t really a lot of content ? This update totally makes up for that. It looks like Nintendo is listing to fans, so what else do you wanna see in Splatoon?
