A Mortal Kombat HD Remake Was Almost A Thing

Mortal Kombat series creator Ed Boon recently shared a screenshot on Twitter of an incomplete project. The screenshot was of a HD remake of the original Mortal Kombat. Along with posting the picture Boon also said one day he’ll post an article explaining how the HD remake never came to be. What do you think of this picture ? Would you be interesting in a Mortal Kombat HD Remake ? Kinda makes you wonder why this didn’t come to be. I’m sure there be a lot of Mortal Kombat fans who would be interested in playing it.
