GameTrailers has announced after 13 years, it will be closing down. GameTrailers was founded in 2002 and helped pioneer internet video, before YouTube and Twitch was ever a thing. You can see the full announcement here. It’s extremely sad to see this website go. GameTrailers was one of the first sites I visited for game news and to see new trailers back in the day.
