These HTC Phones Will Be Able To Upgrade To Android Marshmallow

HTC has confirmed that it will be updating a majority of their phones to Android 6.0 Marshmallow by the end of 2015. First in line to get HTC’s Marshmallow upgrade is the One M9 and the One M8, both phones should see it before the end of 2015. Here’s the full list of HTC devices in line for a Marshmallow upgrade:

  • One E9
  • One ME
  • One E8
  • One M8 EYE

Google Announces The Nexus 6P


Google has revealed the Nexus 6P.The device has a metal unibody design that packs a 5.7-inch Quad HD display, an octa-core Snapdragon 810 processor and comes with Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The Nexus 6P also has an 8-megapixel camera on its front, a 3,450mAh battery, and 3GB of RAM. It will be available in 32GB, 64GB, and 128GB variants in aluminum, graphite, and ice white. The Nexus 6P will also take advantage of its native fingerprint recognition and new connectivity options with the finger scanner mounted on its back, and a USB-C port on its bottom edge in place of micro-USB. Nexus 6P is the larger, more expensive option in Google’s new Nexus lineup, which also includes the Nexus 5X.  The Nexus 6P will be available to pre-order today from the Google Store. Prices start at $499 (£449/€649) for the 32GB model, $549 (£499/€699) for the 64GB model, and $649 (£579/€799) for the 128GB model.

Google Is Having A Media Event on September 29


Google has sent out invites to the press for a rumored September 29 event. Google is expected to announce 2 new Nexus devices, the Nexus 5X and the Nexus 6P. Nexus 5X is reportedly made by LG going to be powered by a Snapdragon 808 processor and the Nexus 6P will feature a more powerful Snapdragon 810 processor. Both devices will feature front facing stereo speakers, 3GB RAM, and a 12.3MP rear camera. Google is also expected to unveil the final release of Andorid 6.0 Marshmallow and the second generation Chromecast. What do you think ?

Android M Is Android Marshmallow

Google has finally revealed that Android M’s real name is Marshmallow. Android's VP of Engineering, Dave Burke, tweeted the picture of the statue made to commemorate Android Marshmallow's unveiling (you can see it below).  Android Marshmallow launches later this year.
