Starcraft II Is Free-To-Play Now


A few weeks ago at Blizzcon, Blizzard announced that Starcraft II's Terran campaign, Wings of Liberty, is going free-to-play. This goes into effect today. You can access the game through Battle.net to download, which gives you full access to the campaign, the full multiplayer ladder, and all the heroes up until level 5. If you already own Wings of Liberty, Blizzard is tossing you the second campaign, Heart of the Swarm, for free.

Blizzard Teases Blizzard Themed Skins, And More For All 26 Overwatch Characters In Early 2018


During the Blizzcon 2017 opening ceremony, Blizzard has announced a host of new skins and other customization options for Overwatch, including crossover skins with other Blizzard games. All these skins will be available in the base lootbox set and are not time-limited like seasonal event skins.


Blizzard Announces Classic Servers For World Of Warcraft And Horde Vs. Alliance Expansion


During the Blizzcon 2017 opening ceremony, Blizzard announced a new expansion for World of Warcraft and that they are bringing classic vanilla servers as an option for players. The new expansion titled Battle for Azeroth includes a new continent, Zandalar, along with new dungeons, raids, and uncharted islands. Players are tasked with dominating warfronts and rallying all the allies in the Alliance Vs. Horde war. Check out the Battle for Azeroth overview, and the WoW Classic announcement  below.

New Support Hero Moira Coming To Overwatch


During the Blizzcon 2017 opening ceremony, Overwatch director Jeff Kaplan revealed Moira, the newest hero coming to game. Moira is a support hero, but she appears as though she can take care of herself, as the trailer shows her sprinting into battle. Similar to Hanzo's scatter arrow, Moira can hurl damaging orbs around corners to hit enemies. For more direct combat interactions, Moira has purple damage bursts, as well as yellow healing bursts. She also has the ability to teleport around the map. Her ultimate is a beam that deals heavy damage to enemies, while healing any teammates in the path of the attack. Moira will hit PTR before receiving a wide release on consoles and PC later.

StarCraft II Going Free To Play


During the Blizzcon 2017 opening ceremony, Blizzard President and co-founder Mike Morahaime announced that Starcraft II is going free-to-play starting November 14. Players will have access to the full Wings of Liberty campaign and if you already have that campaign, you will receive the first expansion, Heart of the Swarm, for free. You’ll also receive the game's full ranked multiplayer ladder, and access to each of the game's commanders in the co-op mode until that character hits level 5.

Hanzo And Alexstrasza Coming To Heroes Of The Storm


During the Blizzcon 2017 opening ceremony, Blizzard revealed a cinematic that confirms Overwatch's Hanzo and World of Warcraft's Alexstrasza are coming to Heroes of The Storm. Hanzo, obviously serves as an archer who can deal damage from afar." Alexstrasza can heal her team and, when the chips are down, transform into a dragon to really real damage to the rest of the team. Hanzo retains his Overwatch super of the twin dragons, as well, so the field will just be full of so many dragons.

There Won’t Be Any Diablo Announcements At BlizzCon 2017


Blizzard has announced that there won’t be any Diablo related announcements at this year's BlizzCon. "This year, we want to give you a heads-up that while Diablo will be on the show floor, we won’t be making any new Diablo announcements," Blizzard wrote on the Battle.net forums. "There will be a time for that at some point in the future, but that time is not now." Thoughts ?

More Tickets For BlizzCon To Go On Sale Soon


Blizzard has announced that the Anaheim Convention Center brand-new hall is ready to accept visitors, so the BlizzCon will be expanding and with it the tickets available. So, if you didn't manage to get your hands on any tickets the first 2 days they went on sale, get ready to once more try your luck. On July 5th at 7 PM PT, you can try and grab one of the $199 tickets to attend the 2 day convention on November 3rd and 4th.

Blizzard Annoucnes The Dates For This Years BlizzCon


Blizzard has announced the dates for BlizzCon 2017. The annual event will be held on November 3 and 4. Tickets cost $199 and go on sale on April 5 and April 8. There will be a BlizzCon benefit dinner on November 2, with proceeds going to the Children's Hospital of Orange County. Tickets to the dinner cost $750.
