Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 Getting Lite Version On PS4 And Xbox One


In an effort to bring in even more players, Bandai Namco is making a "lite" version for Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2. It’smore than demo, but less that a full free-to-play version.
The Lite version of the game will be available on March 20 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Here's what players can experience with this version:
  • Play five story episodes, ‘Raditz's Attack’, ‘The Saiyan Threat’, ‘Ruckus on Planet Namek’, ‘The Ginyu Force Strikes’ and ‘The Galactic Emperor’, from the main game.
  • Take part in Online Battles and Online Quests with the option to play against those with the full version of the game (Online events and expert missions will remain exclusive to owners of the full game).
  • Compete in Hero Colosseum mode, with all content and online matches.
  • Additionally, players will be able to transfer saved data from the “Lite” version to the full game if they choose to purchase the full version of Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2.

Bandai Namco Wants Switch Owners To Focus On Xenoverse 2 Before FighterZ


Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is coming to Nintendo Switch in September and some Dragon Ball fans are more interested in a Switch version of Dragon BallFighterZ. Developer Tomoko Hiroki has told Nintendo players to wait until Xenoverse 2 has released before talking about a FighterZ port. Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 Coming To Nintendo Switch In September


Bandai Namco has announced that Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is coming to the Nintendo Switch on September 22 in Europe and North. As for those in Japan the game will release on September 7 (but we already knew that).

Majin Vegeta Has Been Added To The Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 Roster


Bandai Namco has revealed Majin Vegeta will be joining the roster for Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2, some new modes, and an open beta for the game is coming soon. You can see him in action in the trailer below. The trailer also shows off the new Expert Mission mode, which has 6 players taking on bosses such as Broly, Great Ape Vegeta, and Turles. Bandai Namco also announced an open beta of the game will happen soon, no specific dates have been given at this time.

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 Has 3 Special Editions

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 will have a variety of editions available on its release date of October 25  for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, and October 28 for PC users. If you pre-order the day one edition, you will get an exclusive playable character from the new Dragon Ball Super Anime. You will also receive a Tao Pai Pai Stick vehicle so you can soar around just like the expert assassin himself. The price for the day one edition is $59.99. 

If you want the Deluxe Edition, it will grant you access to the season pass for all 4 future DLC content packs along with the game. Future DLC is said to include playable characters, stages, skills, costumes, and more. You will also receive early access to the Future Trunks character from the new Dragon Ball Super anime series. The price for the deluxe edition is $89.99. 
Last but not least, if you want the collectors edition you’ll receive the Time Patroller’s Guide art book, exclusive Steelbook case, game soundtrack, collector’s box, and a highly detailed 13” Goku Master Stars Piece statue. The price for the collectors edition is $149.99. 
You can also purchase the 4 DLC content packs separately for $9.99 each to in the season pass for $29.99. The season pass will include early access to the Future Trunks character from the deluxe edition.
