Turtle Rock Ending Support For Evolve, Probably Won’t Come To Consoles

Turtle Rock has announced it will no longer be working on Evolve, and that the free to play Stage 2 update for the game isn’t coming to  consoles. Evolve publisher 2K wrote a blog post calling the development of the game's Stage 2 changes complete. "Today, Turtle Rock finishes development on the project and begins to transition day to day server operation to 2K, as we take the operation of the Evolve franchise fully in-house." Thoughts ?

Evolve Stage 2 Gets A New Electrifying Character

2K has revealed a new variation of its Hunter character in Evolve Stage 2. Electro Griffin will feature a submachine gun and a electrified harpoon as his weapons. Here's what he's bringing to Evolve:

• The Laser Storm – Infused with electro neuron dampening plasma, this SMG will slow the movement of anything it touches;
• The Final Lockdown – Bursting with sonic disrupter energy; this harpoon gun will damage and restrain the movement of its targets.
• The Electro Suit – Allows the use of Electro Griffin’s full movement speed while firing for unprecedented combat mobility. 

Electro Griffin is live now for Evolve Stage 2 players on PC. Founders can start playing as him. Everyone else can unlock him for 8,000 silver keys.
