Sony has announced a limited edition Gran Turismo Sport PlayStation 4 console is being released along side the game later this year. The U.K., Europe and Australia will be able to purchase a limited edition 1TB slim console and controller, as revealed on the European PlayStation Blog. The main bundle is coming on October 18 and includes the limited edition, 2 tone silver and black 1TB slim console, and customized controller. A Day 1 edition of Gran Turismo Sport will also be included, which gives players access to $250,000 in-game credits, livery sticker packs, a chrome racing helmet, and 60 PS4 avatars. The matching limited edition controller, which comes with a the Grand Turismo-branded touch pad, is also available on its own and bundled with a standard edition of the game. Several other bundles will feature the standard edition of Gran Turismo Sport:
- Jet Black PS4 1 TB edition
- Jet Black PS4 500GB edition
- Jet Black PS4 1TB + extra Jet Black DUALSHOCK 4 edition
- Jet Black PS4 Pro edition
Gran Turismo Sport isn't going to be racing onto PS4 this year. The game was originally set for release on November 15, but now won't be out now until 2017. A specific release date wasn’t given. "As we approach our planned release date in November, we realize we need more time to perfect GT Sport, which we’ve already dedicated so much effort towards since announcing the title," wrote Polyphony founder Kazunori Yamauchi on the PlayStation Blog. "We do not want to compromise the experience in any way. While we cannot confirm a new release date at this time, we are more committed than ever to making GT Sport the best Gran Turismo game to date."
Sony and developer Polyphony Digital have announced a release date for Gran Turismo Sport, along with pre-order bonuses and a special edition. You can pre-order the game, and depending on where you go, you'll get different goodies (see the PS Blog for more info). Regardless of where you pre-order, anyone who does will get 3 cars. The Ford Mustang Group B Rally Car, Toyota FT-1 Vision GT Group 3 and Peugeot 908 HDi FAP LMP1. The game also has a limited edition version for $69.99, which includes:
- GT Sport Starter Pack (8x Cars) – Gain immediate access to cars within various race class, including GT4, Rally, and more
- $1MM In-Game Credit – Build and customize your personalized garage
- Livery Sticker Pack – Bonus livery of numerous brands and logos

According to GT Planet, the game features 130 cars, 19 tracks at launch (with 27 variations), rally racing, a livery editor, 117 offline events, and more. Gran Turismo Sport releases on November 15 for the PS4.
