HBO Now Is Coming To PS4 And PS3 (UPDATE)


According to the announcement on the PlayStation Blog, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 owners we’ll soon be able to use the HBO Now app to access the shows available through the service. This functionality is coming prior to October 2, but no exact date was provided. The PlayStation Vue service will also be offering subscriptions to both HBO and Cinemax for $15 per month. If you subscribe to HBO through PlayStation Vue, you will also be able to access it through other devices that support Vue. 

UPDATE 9/29/16 - HBO NOW is now available for PS4 and PS3.

HBO Now Is Now Available On iPhone, iPad and Apple TV


The HBO Now video streaming service is now available on Apple TV, iPhone an iPad. HBO Now offers instant access to HBO’s list of original programming, as well as hit movies, documentaries, sports, and comedy specials. The service represents the first time HBO is being offered to users without a cable or satellite subscription. Apple customers can subscribe using the HBO Now app on their iPhone, iPod touch, iPad or Apple TV for instant access. Upon registering, Apple subscribers will also be able to watch on the HBO Now website. The cost of the service is $14.99 per month. For a short time, HBO is offering a 30 day introductory free-trial period to new customers who sign up through Apple. HBO Now is initially only available to customers in the United States and certain U.S. territories.

HBO NOW To Exclusively Launch On Apple TV


Apple started of there press event with announcing that HBO NOW will debut exclusively on Apple TV next month. HBO Now will be available within the HBO channel for $14.99/month, no cable subscription required, and subscribers joining in April will get the first month for free. HBO Now will include past and current television shows and movies. For iPhone and iPad owners, the new subscription service will be available on mobile devices exclusively through the HBO app available on the App Store. HBO Now will be available starting in the United States only. The Apple TV Is Now $69


Apple announced today that the Apple TV will received a price at $69. Previously, the Apple TV was sold for $30 higher at $99. The current Apple TV supports 1080p and has a number of new channel options to the set top box. Click here to read about HBO NOW debuting exclusively on Apple TV.
