Download Outlast 2 Demo Before It’s Gone

As we already know, Red Barrels Outlast 2 was delayed into 2017, but that doesn't mean you can't play it for Halloween. Red Barrels has announced a limited-time demo will be available on PS4, Xbox One and PC until November 1. It’s unknown what the demo includes, but more Outlast sounds good to me.

Allison Road Is Back From The Dead

After Konami crushed are hopes and dreams by canceling Silent Hills, there was hope with a small project called Allison Road. Then in June, that hope died once again. Now Allison Road creator Christian Kesler has told IGN that the project is back on. Keller has founded a new company with his wife called Far From Home. “After the set back, I took a bit of a break from working on it and re-evaluated all the work that had been done so far the whole journey, so to speak,” he told IGN. “I started making a few (in my opinion) necessary changes to the story and the flow, little bits and pieces here and there, and before I knew it, it sort of naturally came back to life.” Kesler has said that the game will feature a number of changes, though detailed on what those are is unknown. Also, a release window hasn’t been pinned down just yet. Happy to hear that Allison Road is coming back. Really hope it releases this time. What do you think of Allison Road ?

Outlast 2 Delayed Until 2017

Another game has been delayed into 2017 as Outlast 2 has been delayed until Q1 2017. It was previously set to release this Fall.
"Our mission as an indie studio is to deliver to you the best, most terrifying, most fulfilling experiences possible," developer Red Barrels said on Facebook. "That's why we're taking just a little bit more time to make sure our vision for Outlast 2 is in no way compromised and is the experience you deserve." "This is not the typeof news we ever want to deliver, but we are so fully committed to the world we've built and to our awesome community that we could not, in good conscience, release a game who's limits haven't been tested to the extreme," the studio added. "Thank you for understanding. We promise Outlast 2 will scare the crap out of you." What do you think of Outlast 2 being delayed ?

Allison Road Has Been Canceled [UPDATED]

In what is the saddest video game related news I’ve heard in a while, Allison Road, the first person horror game from developer Lilith Ltd., has been canceled. This news comes from the official Allison Road Twitter account.
Hopefully we get some clarification as to why the game was canceled, as it looked to be an awesome P.T. spiritual successor. Maybe we’ll get that game one day, but sadly it’s not Allison Road. What do you think of Allison Road being canceled ?

UPDATE 6/20/16 - The developer says that it was a"mutual agreement" with Worms developer and indie publisher Team17 to cancel the project. Here's the full statement from the Allison Road on Facebook:

Hi all,
After a long consideration between Team17 and ourselves, we have reached a mutual agreement to end our collaboration on publishing Allison Road under Team17’s Games label.
Sometime things pan out differently than expected as game development and publishing have so many layers of complexity... We’d like to especially thank everyone for their support through-out, it has and will always be appreciated!

Friday The 13th: The Game, Will Have You Survive The Night With Jason

Friday The 13th is coming back and Gun Media are hoping to do something that will blow peoples minds. They've embarked on a quest to make Friday The 13th: The Game, and their goal is to raise $700,000 on Kickstarter in order to fund it. The game would come out on PS4, Xbox One and PC and is designed as a multiplayer game, in which one gets the opportunity to be Jason Voorhies, stalking camp counselors with the mission of killing them until no one remains. The rest are the counselors who are tasked with surviving the night, either by running for their lives or doing what they can to stand up to the horror icon in the hopes fighting back might serve them better. Kane Hodder will be doing the motion captured as Jason for the game. For those who don’t know Hodder has portrayed Jason in 4 films, those being Friday the 13th Part VII: The New Blood, Friday the 13th Part VIII: Jason Takes Manhattan, Jason Goes to Hell: The Final Friday and Jason X. Its feels like Gun Media is taking this very seriously and its very exciting to see a developer and team be so passionate about a game. If you have a few bucks to spare and would like to see this game come to life then here over to their Kickstarter

UPDATE 10/15/16 - The Friday 13th game has been delayed to 2017.

Allison Road Kickstarter Cancels, Joins Publisher Team17

Lilith Ltd the developer for Allison Road announced that the indie horror game is canceling its Kickstarter campaign in favor of a new partnership with publisher Team17. The publisher is most widely known as the developer behind the Worms franchise, and publisher of games like the recent Beyond Eyes and The Escapists series. “For us it’s an incredible opportunity to be part of a label that looks after not only such a massive gaming franchise, but also supports developers like Playtonic, Mouldy Toof, and many others,” the developer said in their most recent Kickstarter update. “Working with Team17 will give us the chance to make our game unhindered creatively, but at the same time will give us the resources, support, and experience that only a 25 year-old studio can give.” No money will be taken for backers who backed the Allison Road Kickstarter, but the developer states that it will look for ways to involve supporters in the game at a later date. I myself as a backer of the Allison Road Kickstarter was a little disappointed as I wanted to help Allison Road be released. But I understand that this new partnership will help bring Allison Road to everyone. What do you think of Allison Road ?

Claire Redfield Returns As Main Character In Resident Evil : Revelation 2

Claire Redfield will return to the game as the lead character. Revelations 2 will feature a single player mode as well as a co-op mode. The game will be set in a detention facility on a remote abandoned island. Revelations 2′s events take place somewhere between Resident Evil 5 and 6. According to the game’s producer Okabe “The project has been finding the line between listening to fan feedback and doing something different to confound expectations. I want this to be a game that doesn’t lose what made its predecessor great, while also bringing something new and exciting to the Resident Evil series. Achieving that lofty goal by bringing together past and future will make this an itchy-tasty prospect indeed”. Resident Evil : Revelation 2 is expected to come put sometime in 015 on PS4, Xbox One and PC.RE revelations 2

Resident Evil Revelations 2 To Be Released In 2015

So it looks like the rumors are true as Resident Evil Revelations 2 is launching in 2015. The news of the game actually existing came from the  pre-TGS PlayStation press conference. The game is coming to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC, but not to Nintendo 3DS or Wii U. Which is the opposite for Resident Evil Revelations 1 as it was released on Nintendo’s 3DS handheld, then was released for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii U and PC. No word on if the game will ever be on A Nintendo console. More news will most likely be released when TGS officially starts on September 19.

Did Resident Evil Revelations 2 Get Leaked ?

A French website called Gamer in a box noticed that Xbox.com hosted two media images for Resident Evil Revelations 2 before taking the listing off the site. Resident Evil Revelations was released on 3DS before coming to PC, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Wii U. Capcom is apparently happy with sales of Resident Evil Revelations and possibly pushing the company to double down on a sequel. In addition, Resident Evil 1 is getting remastered for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, and Xbox 360 next year.
