Splatoon Getting New Map Called Kelp Dome

Nintendo keeps bringing us the goods with Splatoon. Another map will be added to Splatoon called Kelp Dome. This multi-level map includes catwalks high up and winding pathways down below. The outer walls and inner boundaries are ink-proof glass. You can fire up Splatoon and play in Kelp Dome now.

The Splatoon Demo Returns Next Weekend

The demo for Nintendo's Splatoon is gonna go live for one more hour next weekend. The event will go live on Saturday, May 23 at 3pm PST. Everyone who downloads the demo during the first hour long Testfire sessions or next week's final round will get 10% off a digital copy of the game from the Nintendo eShop. The offer is good from May 29 to June 4.

Splatoon Demo Available, Try Online This Weekend

Nintendo announced a limited test period for Splatoon. The demo will be available in the Wii U eShop shortly, with the chance to jump online this weekend. Splatoon will be out on May 29 for Wii U.

You can jump into the ink during three different hour-long windows in the coming days:

• Friday, May 8 at 8 p.m. Pacific / 11 p.m. Eastern
• Saturday, May 9 at 4 a.m. Pacific / 7 a.m. Eastern
• Saturday, May 9 at 12 p.m. Pacific / 3 p.m. Eastern
