Pokemon MOBA, Pokemon Unite, Announced For Nintendo Switch And Mobile

The Pokemon Company unveiled a new game in the Pokemon franchise titled Pokemon Unite which will release on both mobile and Nintendo Switch. It resembles strategy tiles such as DOTA and League of Legends. The developers behind the game are Tencent’s TiMi Studios and the game pits teams of five against each other for strategic Pokemon battles. The release date for the game wasn’t revealed, but it was announced to be a free to start title! Check out the trailer below.
“Today during a Pokémon Presents video presentation, Tsunekazu Ishihara, president and CEO of The Pokémon Company, unveiled Pokémon UNITE, a new game for the Nintendo Switch™ system and mobile devices. Pokémon UNITE is being developed in partnership with Tencent Games’ TiMi Studios.
 
Pokémon UNITE is the first strategic Pokémon team battle game. Players face off against each other in five-on-five team battles. During these battles, players will cooperate with teammates to catch wild Pokémon, level up and evolve their own Pokémon. They will need to defeat their opponents’ Pokémon while trying to earn more points than the opposing team within the allotted time. Pokémon UNITE will be free-to-start.”

Overwatch’s Ana And Junkrat Join Heroes Of The Storm


Blizzard has announced that both Ana and Junkrat are joining Blizzard's MOBA, Heroes of the Storm. The 2 Overwatch characters are coming alongside the Overwatch stage, Assault on Volskaya Foundry. Blizzard put up a page for the update here, showing off the new stage, new characters, and new skins coming soon. Heroes Of The Storm Open Beta And Release Date Coming Soon


Blizzard has announced a release date and an open-beta for Heroes of the Storm. Heroes of the Storm is a free to play MOBA featuring some of Blizzard’s well known characters. The open beta will start on May 19 and the game will launch on June 2. If you've participated in the closed beta, the developer says that it will not perform any more wipes, so your progress and purchases will carry over to the open beta and on to launch.

AirMech Arena Coming To PS4 And Xbox One

AirMech Arena is a twin-stick MOBA with strategic gameplay. The game features solo, co-op and ranked PvP gameplay variants. It will be available as a free 2 play title on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in Spring 2015. Check out the trailer for the game below.
