Miitomo Version 2.2.0 Is Now Available

The latest update to Miitomo is now available to download on both iOS and Android. There’s a number of tweaks to the app that initially proved to be a hit. 

  • A “Miifoto Log” feature, where you’ll be able to post Miifotos or images from your device with comments.
  • The ability to attach images to your answers.
  • The addition of a customizable Bio in your Profile.
  • When sending a friend request, you’ll be able to attach a message.
  • Wallpaper or flooring will be available for use as backgrounds in Miifotos.
  • You’ll be able to select the outfit your Mii character wears when delivering a message.
  • Daily items will not include selectable color variations.
  • Other various system improvements.

Pre-Register For Mittomo And More


Besides opening up pre-registration to make a My Nintendo account, Nintendo has done the same for Miitomo. Nintendo also released more details about the game when it launches next month. With Miitomo, you can customize your Mii, which can be generated by snapping a photo or you can import your existing Mii with a QR code. They can also link up to your Facebook and Twitter accounts, which will queue up questions for users.You'll also earn Miitomo coins, which are used to earn new outfits and yes the game will have in-app purchases. Miitomo sounds interesting, but I’ll need to get my hands on it to really now how I’ll feel about the game. What do you think of Miitomo ?

New Mii Fighter Costumes Are Coming To Super Smash Bros.

During the Smash Bros. Direct today, The final wave of Mii Fighter costumes for Super Smash Bros. were announced. Some are available now and others will be available in February 2016. Here’s the list:

Takamaru from Nazo no Murasame (Sword Fighter)
Ashley from WarioWare (Sword Fighter)
Tails from Sonic (Gunner)
Bionic Armor (Brawler)
Gil from The Tower of Duraga (Sword Fighter)
Knuckles from Sonic (Brawler)
Chocobo from Fianl Fantasty (Available Today)
Geno from Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars (Gunner) (Available Today)

Nintendo Working On Mii Smartphone App

It appears that Nintendo is working on a new smartphone app. Company’s President Satoru Iwatatold has said thats It’s in development now, and should be finished around the time Nintendo reports its annual earnings in May. According to Iwata, the app will feature Miis, the lovable, customizable avatars that represent players used in Nintendo Wii and Nintendo Wii U. Players will be able to customize their Mii characters, and share them on their social networks.
