Make Musical Mashups With Harmonix's Fuser In November

Harmonix's Fuser finally has a release date. Fuser is a new take on the rhythm gaming genre where, instead of focusing on hitting notes as they come down a moving track, your job is to keep the crowd excited with your musical mashups. Harmonix announced today that players will get the chance to try their hand at being a virtual DJ on November 10 for PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and PC.

Ubisoft Announces Rocksmith 2014 Edition Remastered (Why ?)

Ubisoft has announced that Rocksmith 2014 Edition Remastered will be releasing on October 4, 2016. Why they’re releasing a remaster of a game from 2014 in 2016 and not changing the name is beyond me. While that certainly would be confusing for most people, Ubisoft has done nothing to really clarify the details. This "new" version will be available on PS4, Xbox One, and PC for $60 (wow lol) and a free update to existing players. This "remastered" version will include 6 news songs over the original release. The songs are as follows:
  • "Three Little Birds" by Bob Marley & The Wailers
  • "Suspicious Minds" by Elvis Presley
  • "Some Nights" by Fun
  • "I Want You Back" by The Jackson 5
  • "Hey Ya!" by Outkast
  • "Drops of Jupiter" by Train

In order to get theses song you MUST purchase the remaster version, they are not apart of the free update. However, they will be available as standalone DLC down the road. Why Ubisoft is doing this (besides making some easy money) makes so sense. They should just make a 2016 / 2017 version of the game. What are your thoughts on Ubisoft doing this ?

Rock Band 4 Will Be More Expensive On Xbox One Then PS4

Harmonix has revealed that there is a pricing difference between the PS4 and Xbox One standalone versions of Rock Band 4 and giving a reason why. The PS4 standalone game costs $60 while the Xbox One version costs $80. The price difference is due to the Xbox One version requiring a controller adapter, which will allow players to use their existing Xbox 360 instruments. No adapter is required for the PS4, older instruments will work with Rock Band 4. To make things convenient for there fans Harmonix has released a compatibility chart (which you can see below) to help figure out if your old instruments will work with Rock Band 4. Keep in mind that the chart isn’t finalized yet. What are your thoughts on this ?
