Nintendo Gold Points Can Now Be Used On The Eshop

You can now redeem your My Nintendo Gold Points against Nintendo Switch software on the rewards service. It’s currently live in North America and Europe. Basically 100 Gold Points equals $1. You can take a look at what is available at the link here.

You Will Soon Be Able To Use My Nintendo Gold Points In Nintendo eShop On Nintendo Switch

Nintendo has announced that you will soon be able to redeem Gold Points from My Nintendo on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch games. The new feature won’t go live until March.

“Once earned, Gold Points remain valid until the last day of the month in the following calendar year. For example, any Gold Points you earned in March 2017 will remain valid until the end of March 2018.”

Some My Nintendo Members Get To Try The Nintendo Switch Early

If you’re a My Nintendo member check your email as select people are receiving invites to test out the Nintendo Switch early. Details are scarce but the message says the following: Dear My Nintendo member, To thank you for being a loyal fan, we’d like to offer you a chance to try the Nintendo Switch system before it’s released. Look for an email from Eventbrite for the full details and be sure to register right away to save your spot. 

Gold Points For My Nintendo Are Now Valid For 12 Months

Nintendo has confirmed that the My Nintendo rewards program is undergoing a small change. Gold Points are now valid for 12 months rather than 6 months. However, Platinum Points still need to be used by 6 months.

New Pokemon Sun & Moon Info Coming In August

According to Pokemon fan site, Serebii, new Pokemon Sun & Moon information will be shared on August 1st at 22:00 JST/14:00 BST/9:00 EDT/6:00 PDT. It’s not known what information will be shared.

Miitomo Launching In North America And Europe This Week

Nintendo has announced that Miitomo will launch in North America and Europe this week. You can still pre-register for the app, which also gets you some My Nintendo Platinum Points. My Nintendo is the company’s replacement for the defunct Club Nintendo rewards program. Both Miitomo and the new service launches on March 31. During its launch in Japan, Miitomo was downloaded more than 1 million times in its first 3 days. We’ll see how North America and Europe stack up.

My Nintendo And Miitomo Are Now Live In Japan + My Nintendo Rewards

My Nintendo is now live in Japan giving players access to the new rewards service from Nintendo. It includes a variety of discounts including eShop titles, Virtual Console titles and you can also get The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess Picross. All the My Nintendo rewards are listed below. 

• One of the rewards available is a Mario outfit your Mii can wear in Miitomo.
• One of the new My Nintendo rewards are “Game Tickets” to be used within Miitomo.
• The “Game Tickets” used in Miitomo, give you the chance to unlock special outfits for your Mii to wear.
• “Game Tickets” can be obtained by swapping points on My Nintendo, also, presumably by paying for in-app purchases within Miitomo.

Registration For A My Nintendo Account Is Live

Registration for a My Nintendo account is live . This account will also be your Nintendo Account. Once you’re done setting up the account there is not much more you can do besides changing basic information. My Nintendo launches in March. 

My Nintendo Will Launch Next Month In 39 Countries

My Nintendo (Club Nintendos replacement) is set to go live next month in 39 countries. Nintendo’s first goal for the program is to reach at least 100 million registrants. Some of the features that My Nintendo will offer from the start include a points program, coupons for downloads, emails, digital contents and more. Nintendo’s My Nintendo Account System Is Now Live In Japan

Nintendo has launched registrations for its new account system (My Nintendo) in Japan. My Nintendo will link to existing Nintendo IDs, as well as social media accounts, support online purchases for Wii U and 3DS (and most likely the NX), and offer a new point system that replaces Club Nintendo. Nintendo Accounts will also connect console and mobile purchases. It’s unknown when My Nintendo will be available outside of Japan, but we’ll update you when more information is known.

Club Nintendo’s Replacement Is Set To Launch March 2016, Titled My Nintendo

Nintendo has announced its replacement for Club Nintendo. The new service is titled My Nintendo and is set to give you points for not only purchasing software but also playing games on the Wii U, Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo’s upcoming mobile titles. Nintendo has revealed that the points you acquire will allow you to purchase downloadable content, merchandise, or a coupon, which can be used as a discount for new software. Heres what was said about the service via Nintendo Japan. 

“We will start a new point program as well, which not only involves Nintendo’s dedicated game systems but also smart devices. With the Club Nintendo membership service that was ended on September 30, 2015, you earned points when you purchased software. With this new point program, you can earn points by playing games as well. Whether you have played the software for dedicated game systems or our applications for smart devices, you can earn points that can then be used on our dedicated game systems or on smart devices. Naturally, you can also earn points by purchasing software.With the new points, you can obtain digital add-on content, which will make the game you are playing even more fun, original merchandise or a coupon, which can be used as a discount for new software. This is also a plan for the future, but we are going to provide our membership service benefits in other real-life facilities such as theme parks, movie theaters and retail outlets. The name of our new membership service is “My Nintendo.” My Nintendo will work as a bridge between dedicated game systems and smart devices.” What do you think of My Nintendo ?
