Overwatch Turns 4 And Its Anniversary Event Is Adding Some Amazing Skins

The Overwatch anniversary event starts tomorrow to commemorate the games fourth anniversary. With every Overwatch event Blizzard adds new skins and theses don’t disappoint. So far the skins that have been revealed included Hammond as a submarine captain and Ashe as Little Red Riding Hood with Bob as her Big Bad Wolf. You can see the others down below. The event runs from May 19 until June 9. Overwatch was originally released on May 24, 2016 for PS4, Xbox One and PC.

Overwatch Anniversary Event Coming Next Week


The Overwatch Anniversary celebration begins on May 22. The Overwatch team announced the event on Twitter, revealing brawls and cosmetics from the every past event will make a return for the event. Overwatch originally released on May 24, 2016.

Overwatch’s Anniversary Event Ends With A Double XP Weekend


Overwatch's anniversary event will come to an end soon, and Blizzard is giving it one final send off. Players can get double XP starting on June 8 at 8PM ET until June 12 at 3AM ET. For more on the bonus experience, check out Blizzard's blog.

Save Cash On Overwatch For Anniversary Event

Blizzard has announced that you can save on Overwatch for the game's anniversary event, including a deal on the Game of the Year edition if you already own the game. The Game of the Year Edition is going for $39.99 for PS4,Xbox One and PC as a digital bundle, with the regular title priced at $29.99 and the chance for those who already own the title to upgrade to the Game of the Year Edition for $9.99. These savings end on June 5. Overwatch: Game of the Year Edition's contents includes the following:

  • Enjoy 10 Standard Loot Boxes, each containing a collection of random items that can be used to customize your favorite heroes. Loot Boxes may include skins, emotes, victory poses, voice lines, sprays, and highlight intros, as well as credits you can use to unlock a variety of different customization options (For Overwatch)
  • Origins Skins: Pay homage to the original Overwatch strike force with vintage skins of Blackwatch Reyes for Reaper and Strike-Commander Morrison for Soldier: 76. Explore other heroes' origins with Overgrown Bastion, Security Chief Pharah, and Slipstream Tracer. (For Overwatch)
  • Mercy's Wings: Slay demonic forces throughout the High Heavens and Burning Hells while donning Mercy's wings, and all of Sanctuary will know of your allegiance to Overwatch! (For Diablo III)
