PlayStation 2 Games Are Now A Part Of PlayStation Now


PlayStation Now, Sony's streaming cloud-based gaming service, has added select PlayStation 2 games to its repertoire. These PS2 games feature updated resolution and trophy support. So fans that want to replay the games by going for every trophy can do so without downloading. The games added this week are Ape Escape 2, Dark Cloud 2 and Hot Shots Tennis. With PS Now save data can be saved locally or uploaded to the cloud and downloaded on other systems.

Jak And Daxter PS2 Classics Coming To PS4


Sony has announced that Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy, Jak II, Jak 3, and Jak X: Combat Racing, will be available as digital downloads on the PlayStation 4 as a PS2 classic. All of the games will feature visual upscaling to 1080p and trophy support, as well as share play and activity feeds. Additionally, Jak X: Combat Racing will have local splitscreen in addition to its original Adventure and Exhibition game modes, though no online play will be available.
