Epic is closing down their action MOBA Paragon on April 26. The studio announced that they would be shutting down service for the game in the coming months after being unable to find a path to success for it. The forthright blog post on the subject describes the situation for the game, saying that there is no feasible solution to maintaining the player numbers the game would require to keep going.
"We didn’t execute well enough to deliver on the promise of Paragon," the post from the Paragon team reads. "We have failed you – despite the team’s incredibly hard work – and we’re sorry." Epic is supplying refunds for Paragon for both PC and PlayStation 4. Unlike normal refund methods, the refund is coming from Epic itself, rather than through, for example, Sony. Those seeking a refund will need to link their Epic account first and, after that, access the refund page here. Paragon first went on sale in March 2016 and went into free-to-play early access almost a year later in February.
The starter pack for Paragon will be free for the month of July for PlayStation Plus members. The starter pack will allow players to enter the early access season before its free open beta arrives on August 16 for PlayStation 4 and PC.

Epic Games is holding a free weekend for Paragonfor PS4 and PC next weekend. From May 26 to May 30, the free beta weekend is open to anyone who registers by May 25. Paragon is currently in paid early access, though a free open beta is coming during the next few months.
Epic games has announced that its upcoming MOBA, Paragon, will head into early access on March 18, and progress will carry forward. That’s right, no profile wipes will happen. Starting on March 14, you’ll be able to purchase founders packs at three different price points. The basic pack costs $19.99, and will include skins, boosts, and other cosmetic items. There are also packs priced at $59.99 and $99.99 that add more of the same and an additional founder’s pack for a friend. You can also sign up to beta test the game on PS4 and PC.
