Sony’s Not Bulletproof
In a recent interview Sony Computer Entertainment Australia managing director Michael Ephraim spoke about the recent troubles with PlayStation 4, apologizing for the bugs, and explaining that Sony is "not bulletproof”. "Listen: we’re really, really apologetic,""Dealing with network and digital, I’m not trying to spread or deflect anything, but dealing on such a robust network is a tricky experience”. The good thing is we've launched 2.01, which has fixed the Rest Mode, and has fixed the YouTube app." "It was very unfortunate. We hate that.” "The network was down during the 2.0 release. It's very unfortunate. Those things are gonna happen over time. We're not bulletproof on those things.""Dealing with global network loads and concurrent users for a platform that is ever expanding because of our sales being so strong is tricky at times, and we're not infallible.” How do you think Sony handled this ? Were you one of those who were effected by the Rest Mode bug ?

PlayStation 4 Update 2.0 Seems To Have Some Kinks
Sony’s latest update, Version 2.0 , brings with it some awesome features, including themes, YouTube, suspend and resume downloads, and Share Play. Though there seem to be some issues that still need to be worked out. There are reports in the official PlayStation forums that connecting the system to YouTube isn’t working for all users. Another issue reported by some is on the new rest mode. While it would seem that this feature is just a renamed version of standby mode from previous firmware versions, it’s causing some problems. The hardware will occasionally fail to boot from rest mode. Controllers and touch-sensitive buttons on the face of the console are unresponsive, with a blinking yellow light indicating a problem. Have you been having these issues? What do you think of the new update?
