Rock Band Blitz To Be Removed From PS3 & Xbox 360 Storefronts

After 5 years of availability, Rock Band Blitz will be pulled from PS3 and Xbox 360 store fronts on August 28th. According to Harmonix. Players who own the game before it's pulled can still export the game's 25-song soundtrack into Rock Band 4, and those tracks will still be available for purchase as Rock Band 4 DLC. The game itself will remain in your library if you have purchased it, you'll be able to download it again later if you've deleted it.

More Rock Band tracks are coming tomorrow, with the second batch of DLC for the franchise after a 2 year hiatus. Tenacious D’s Rise of the Fenix along with Weezer’s Back to the Shack will be available this week. Both tracks are priced at $1.99 and will be available tomorrow. They are compatible with Rock Band 3 and Rock Band Blitz.
