Apple TV App Now Available On Roku Devices


Roku has announced that the Apple TV app now available on the Roku devices. 
Roku users can now add the Apple TV app via the Roku Channel Store to discover and watch movies, TV shows and more, including accessing their iTunes video library and subscribing to Apple TV channels directly on Roku devices. 
Scott Rosenberg, senior vice president/general manager of Platform Business Service, Roku, says that, through the Apple TV app on their Roku devices, customers can: enjoy personalized recommendations of shows and movies; subscribe directly to Apple TV channels and more using their Apple ID and password; browse, buy or rent more than 100,000 movies and TV shows; and watch all the shows and movies they have previously purchased from iTunes.
The Apple TV+ streaming service is due to launch Nov. 1 at a price of $4.99 per month. However, you can get a free year’s subscription with the purchase of a new iPhone, iPad, Mac, or Apple TV.

PlayStation Vue Is Coming To Roku Devices Soon [UPDATED]


Sony has announced that starting next week PlayStation Vue will be available on Roku devices and will roll out to the Android OS. PlayStation Vue  is meant to replace your existing cable subscription and gives you the ability to watch live television streams anywhere that has an internet connection. Vue comes in 3 package options, Access which offers 55 channels for $30 a month, Core offers 70 channel for $35 and Elite package offers 100 plus channel for $50. If you live in a major live local broadcast area, like the Bay Area or the NYC, those prices rise by $10. You can see what channels are available where at the Vue website.

Sling TV Is Coming To Xbox One

Microsoft and Dish have announced that Sling TV will be coming to Xbox One soon. Sling TV will provide a variety of over the internet television programming from Disney, CNN, ESPN, TNT, and many others. The service will be offered for $20 per month. Xbox Live members will receive a free one month trial at launch. Its should be noted that Sling TV will also be available on Amazon Fire TV, Google Nexus Player, LG Smart TVs, Roku, iOS devices, Android devices, Mac and PC.

The WWE Network Is Finally Coming To The UK

The WWE Network finally has a release date for the UK version. The online video subscription service, which offers access to a 30 year archive of wrestling shows, as well as live streams of the latest pay per views is set to be released on January 19. The Network will cost £9.99 per month, and is accessible on Streaming devise such as Roku, Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV, Playstation consoles, Xbox consoles, some smart tv’s, computers, tablets and smartphones.
