Microsoft has announced that it has acquired Intel’s Havok software. The softwares logo has popped up in games over the last 15 years, being that its been used in a majority of them. Besides it being used for Microsoft’s Crackdown 3, Havok has been used in Destiny, Sonic Generations, Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, and Infamous: Second Son. Microsoft says that the toolset will complement DirectX12, Visual Studio, and Azure cloud services.
