During Nintendo’s E3 press conference, Nintendo confirmed that Animal Crossing is coming to Wii U. Animal Crossing Amiibo Festival is a party game with a board game feel to it. Players travel around the village, landing on spaces, and encountering Animal Crossing events. You might encounter Joan selling turnips or a fishing competition. 4 Amiibo figures were announced alongside it: Isabelle, Tom Nook, KC Slider, and Mabel. The game will be out this holiday season. During yesterdays Nintendo Direct, Nintendo announced Amiibo cards, along with Animal Crossing Happy Home Designer which will be releasing this Fall. 3 cards have been introduced, each portraying an Animal Crossing character, including Isabelle, Peanut, and Goose. Amiibo cards are Amiibos in card form, as the name suggests. In the new Animal Crossing game, players will act as home designers at the request of different animals in the world.
