Banjo-Kazooie Is Now Available On Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack

Banjo-Kazooie was revealed late last year as one of the Nintendo 64 titles that will be coming to the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack subscription service in the future. You may recall that it was stated last month that it will arrive in January. Today, January 20th, is that day.

'Banjo-Kazooie' Comes The Nintendo Switch Online Expansion Pack In January

Banjo-Kazooie, Rare's beloved collect-a-thon platformer, will be the latest title added to Nintendo's premium online subscription service Expansion Pack. Expansion Pack, which is also a part of Switch Online, already supports a slew of early 3D classics including Star Fox 64, Super Mario 64, and The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, as well as several famous Sega Genesis titles.

Expansion Pack is only available as a year-long membership, unlike Switch Online, which may be purchased in 1-, 3-, or 12-month increments. It costs an extra $50 on top of the $20 annual fee for Switch Online.

Banjo-Kazooie Is Now Available In Super Smash Bros.

During the September 2019 Nintendo Direct, it was revealed that Banjo-Kazooie is available now in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.

Banjo-Kazooie Are Raring To Go In Super Smash Bros. Ultimate This Fall

During Nintendo’s E3 Direct, it was announced that one of the most requested characters in coming to Super Smash Bros. Everyones favorite bird and bear Banjo-Kazooie will be coming to the game this fall.

Yooka-Laylee Is The Spiritual Successor To Banjo-Kazooie

The stars of  Project Ukelele have been unveiled, a chameleon and a bat named Yooka and Laylee. Much like Banjo-Kazooie, the duo is named after an instrument and must work together in the game. Playtonic has decided to crowd-fund the game and is launching a Kickstarter, where we will find out more details about the game. Some other details about Yooka and Laylee are they were created by Steve Mayles who created Banjo, Kazooie and the Donkey Kong family from Donkey Kong 64. Where you a Banjo-Kazooie fan ?
