Shenmue III Delayed To November

Deep Silver have announced that Shenmue III has been delayed rom its original August 27 date to November. According to creators, the delay stems from the team needing more time for the game to be polished.

The jump to November 19 isn't the first time the game has been delayed. Shenmue III was originally set for a 2017 release before it was pushed back to 2018. Shenmue III is coming to PlayStation 4 and PC.

Volition Announces Agents of Mayhem

Deep Silver and Volition have announced Agents of Mayhem. The cinematic trailer (which you can watch below) was revealed by IGN and it gives us a look at a futuristic Seoul, Korea and 3 characters. Agents of Mayhem will be out in 2017 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. 

Dead Island 2 Has A New Developer

Deep Silver has revealed that Sumo Digital is now in change of development of Dead Island 2. Sumo’s past projects include Little Big Planet 3, Disney Infinity 3.0, and Sonic and All Stars Racing Transformed. No other details are known. Dead Island 2 looks like cool but I'm not sure how it will stack up against Dying light. What do you think ? 

Homefront: The Revolution Gets A Release Date

Homefront: The Revolution finally has an official release date of May 17 for North America and May 20 for the rest of the world. It was also announced that players can sign up for a  closed beta in February for Xbox One. What do you think of Homefront: The Revolution ? As someone who enjoyed Homefront I’m very curious to see how the game plays and how well it does in the FPS market. 

Deep Silver Drops Dead Island 2 Developer

Dead Island 2 publisher Deep Silver announced yesterday that developer Yager was no longer working on Dead Island 2. Deep Silver gave a statement saying that ”dedicated to delivering the sequel that Dead Island fans deserve," no other reason why they removed Yager from the project was given. Yager managing director Timo Ullman has explained the departure was a mutual agreement due to differences of opinion, likely due to the fact that the studio operates on being an independent AAA studio. "Our team is made of the best creative minds and tech specialists, who all share a common identity," Ullman said. "The team worked with enthusiasm to take Dead Island 2 to a new level of quality. However, Yager and Deep Silver's respective visions of the project fell out of alignment, which led to the decision that has been made." What do you think ? Dead Island 2 Delayed Into 2016

Looks like Deep Silver has delayed Dead Island into 2016. Developer Deep Silver had this to say in a statement on Twitter, We have always set ourselves a big goal for Dead Island 2: to create the sequel that takes Dead Island to the next level. A game that takes what our fans tell us they love about Dead Island, we wanted to have all of that that done for release in Spring 2015. We didn’t reach that goal we set out to achieve quite yet. This is why we have decided to delay Dead Island 2 to 2016.

Saints Row Goes To Hell In 2015

Volition announced today at Pax Prime it’s next entry into the Saints Row series titled Saints Row Gat Out of Hell. From the looks of the trailer the President of the United States is sucked into hell via a Ouija board and it's up to the Saints to save him. It looks like super powers will make a return in the expansion along with a bunch of new weapons from hell. This is a stand alone expansion and won't require you to own a copy of Saints Row 4 to play it. Saints Row Gat Out Of Hell Will be released on PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC on January 27, 2015 for $20.

Pre Order Escape From Dead Island To Get Beta Access For Dead Island 2

Anyone who pre orders the survival mystery designed to bridge the gap between the original Dead Island and its sequel will be allowed access to the Dead Island 2 beta. At the moment it's unclear where this bonus applies as Deep Sliver has not clarified anything on which territories the bonus is for. Escape Dead Island is set to release in North America on November 18 and everywhere else on November 21.
