Ryu And Chun-Li From Street Fighter Are Joining Power Rangers: Battle For The Grid

 Ryu and Chun-Li are set to join the roster of Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid on May 25, announced exclusively by IGN,. The pack (which will cost $12.50) includes both fighters and future exclusive skins. If you want just one of the characters, they can be purchased for $6 each. 

In Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid, Ryu transforms into the Crimson Hawk Ranger, while Chun-Li turns into the Blue Phoenix Ranger. Each character has their trademark moves, including Hadouken, Shoryuken, and Spinning Bird Kick.

Ryu and Chun-Li join Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid on May 25. Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid is available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, Stadia, and PC.

Power Rangers: Battle For The Grid Season 3 Has Been Announced

Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid DLC Season 3 has been announced by nWay. It will launch over the next several months, but the first Season 3 content will launch in June. This season will include the Wolf Ranger from Power Rangers Jungle Fury and Lauren Shiba fro Power Rangers Super Samurai. There’s one more character that hasn’t been announced yet, but we’re pretty sure it’s Scorpina from Mighty Morphin Power Rangers judging from the silhouette. Check out the trailer below.

Power Rangers: Battle For The Grid Getting Story Mode, New Characters, And More


Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid's new update is here! It brings loads of new content including an epic new story mode created by established writer and director, Kyle Higgins. The update also features original artwork by The Eisner Award-winning illustrator, Dan Mora. There’s also three new characters and they are; Dragon Armor Trini, Udonna, and Cenozoic Blue Ranger. Story Mode
Gamers can now play through an epic storyline written and voice directed by writer / director Kyle Higgins (Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Shattered Grid, Nightwing, Batman: Gates of Gotham). The mode also features original artwork by Eisner Award-winning illustrator Dan Mora (Go Go Power Rangers, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Klaus). In this new mode, players experience a re-imagining of the critically acclaimed Shattered Grid event from Boom! Studios’ Power Rangers comic book series. When Lord Drakkon, an evil alternate version of Tommy Oliver, sets off a massive campaign across time and space to destroy all Power Rangers, they must band together and fight back, before all of existence falls to his armies.
New Voice-Overs by Original Cast
The new content includes story and combat voice-overs performed by original Power Rangers cast members, including Jason David Frank (Tommy Oliver), Austin St. John (Jason Lee Scott), David J. Fielding (Zordon), Kerrigan Mahan (Goldar), and Meghan “Strawburry17” Camarena (Kimberly).
New Characters
Three new characters enter the world of Battle for the Grid:
  • Dragon Armor Trini: When the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers were viciously attacked by the Black Dragon, a powerful Zord from another dimension with the capability to warp Ranger powers, they were in for the fight of their lives. After he was defeated, Trini was able to refashion the Zord into a powerful suit of enhanced armor.
  • Udonna: Udonna is a powerful sorceress who trains the Mystic Force Power Rangers in the art of magic. As the Mystic Force White Ranger, this accomplished sorceress uses the power of snow to freeze evil.
  • Cenozoic Blue Ranger: The Cenozoic Blue Ranger was a loyal and powerful soldier who served with Zordon, the original Red Ranger. Eons after his tragic demise at the hands of the traitorous Green Ranger Rita Repulsa, his Power Coin was found by a teenager named Billy Cranston, who then took on the Blue Ranger mantle.

New Arenas
Four new battle arenas:
  • Selectable Arenas: Corinth and Planet Earth: Cenozoic Era
  • Non-Selectable Arenas (Story Mode only): Command Center (Malfunctioning) and Lord Drakkon’s Throne Room (Flashback)

Power Rangers: Battle For The Grid Getting Free DLC Characters In First Update


The official Power Rangers: Battle For The Grid Twitter account has announced the three free characters which will come in the form of downloadable content. The characters are as follows, Udonna (Mystic Force), Dragon Armor Trini (Shattered Grid), and Cenozoic Blue Ranger (Movie 2017) and will come with ‘Update 1’. The team says that there will be additional content with this update, so it sounds mighty promising. Power Rangers: Battle For The Grid is available right now on PS4, Xbox One and Switch. A PC version is coming this summer.

Power Rangers: Battle For The Grid Release Dates Announced


Developer and publisher nWay has announced Power Rangers: Battle For The Grid will launch March 26 for Xbox One and Switch. PC and PS4 players will have to wait a little longer. As for the PS4 versions, Europe gets it on the March 28, while America gets it on April 2. The PC is currently slated for "Summer 2019."
Battle For The Grid pits Rangers and villains from across the franchise's many series against each other. It looks to play similarly to the Marvel Vs. Capcom series, with assist and Tag-in combos similar to Marvel Vs. Capcom: Infinite.
You can get the game for $19.99, or get the $39.99 digital collector's edition, which includes extra skins and comes with the season pass.

Power Ranger Fighting Game Coming In April


Hasbro has revealed that a new game Power Rangers game will be released in 2019. Power Rangers: Battle For The Grid is a fighting game due out in April 2019 for PS4, Xbox One, and Switch. The game is due out on PC at a later date.
Battle For The Grid will feature rangers and villains "past and present" from the popular show. There will be cross-play on Xbox One, Switch, and PC. Check out the trailer below.

Street Fighter Characters Coming To Power Rangers Mobile Game


The mobile fighting game Power Rangers: Legacy Wars is crossing over with Capcom's Street Fighter. The May update adds Ryu, Chun-Li, Guile, and Akuma to the game's roster. Each character can be used for free while playing limited-time challenges. Characters can be permanently unlocked by opening in-game Morph boxes and collecting character shards, or through a $5 in-app purchase per character. Those are not the only Street Fighter characters coming to Power Rangers: Legacy Wars, as Cammy will be added to the game June 1, and M. Bison will join the roster on June 15.
