If you’re familiar with Razer Chroma, you're probably used to a light show. But wouldn't it be great if that show was in your entire room? It can be very soon. Razer and Philips have partnered to let you sync any Chroma-equipped Razer device with Hue lights. If a game supports it, you can change the lighting color of your whole environment in tune with gameplay. Outside of games, you can still use the syncing option to set the mood.The update will go live on January 9th, when Razer posts an update to its Synapse 3 software. You'll need a Hue V2 bridge, color Hue lights and the latest Hue mobile app to make everything work. When you're ready, titles like Overwatch, Quake Champions and may more will support the feature.
According to Fast Company, Apple vendors have products in the pipeline that will use its Smart Connector technology that debuted with the iPad Pro.At this time, only 4 accessories support it: Apple’s Smart Keyboard and 2 keyboards and a docking station made by Logitech. Accessory makers told Fast Company that use of the Smart Connector have been slow because of wait times, high costs for Smart Connector components, and because praised Bluetooth is a better fit, at least for iPad keyboards. The Smart Connector transfers data and power between iPad Pro and compatible accessories. No batteries or charging is required. For instance, when you attach a compatible keyboard, you can immediately start typing. When you remove it, the onscreen keyboard automatically reappears. Thoughts ?
