Rocksmith+ Is A Subscription Service For Learning Guitar And Bass

Ubisoft has announced a new addition in the Rocksmith franchise with Rocksmith+, a subscription service that aims to help you learn guitar and bass. You can connect your instrument to your PC, console or mobile device and practice by playing along with master recordings of a variety of songs.

Rocksmith+ works with acoustic instruments and amps as well, since you can use your phone's microphone to pick up what you're playing. So there’s no need for any extra gear. You'll get real-time feedback as you're playing, and songs will have adaptive difficulty. You'll be able to control playback speed, so you can slow tracks down and really get to grips with them. Rocksmith+ will feature a variety of genres, not just rock and metal. Pop, hip hop, country, Latin and R&B tunes will be apart of the game too.

Every song will have chord charts for rhythm players and there will be note-by-note "authentic arrangements," too. You'll be able to create your own arrangements for licensed songs through the Rocksmith Workshop as well. Rocksmith+ will cost you $15 a month or $100 a year. A release date wasn’t given, however, you can sign up now for a closed beta on PC.

Ubisoft Not Raising Price On 2020 PS5 And Xbox Series X Games

During Ubisoft's Q1 earnings call, the publisher said it does not plan to raise prices this holiday season. Unlike publisher 2K, who increased the price of NBA 2K21 by $10 making it $69.99.
Ubisoft CFO Frédérick Duguet would only comment on the remainder of 2020. "For the Christmas games, we plan to come with the same price than previous generation of consoles, and that's what we're focused on at the moment," he said.
Later in the call, Duguet expressed excitement for the launch of the new consoles and the promising manufacturing reports. "It is, each time, putting a boost on the industry, and the fact that they are able to create the number of machines they want to create is a very positive element for the industry," he said in the call. "We are going to be there, ready with lots of great games for the launch of those consoles, so we are very excited by that."
The remainder of Ubisoft's 2020 includes Watch Dogs: Legion on October 29 and Assassin's Creed Valhalla on November 17.

Ubisoft Delays Gods & Monsters, Rainbow Six Quarantine, And Watch Dogs: Legion

During Ubisoft's financial earnings call, the publisher announced that it will be delaying 3 f it upcoming titles. Gods & Monsters, Rainbow Six Quarantine, and Watch Dogs: Legion will now release in 2020-2021 fiscal year.
Ubisoft's CEO and Co-Founder Yves Guillemot stated that the reason for the delays was to give each developer more time to craft its vision of each game.
Gods & Monsters and Watch Dogs: Legion both had release dates for February and March of next year, and the company did not give the titles new release dates. However, Guillemot did mention that the three delayed games would be a part of a year with five total AAA titles. Given how crazy the first half of the year is with releases (Cyberpunk, Finally Fanastay VII Remake, Doom Eternal, etc) theses delays are for the better in more ways then one.
