YouTubes Ad Free Subscription Service Is Called YouTube Red

Google has announced a new subscription service for YouTube users called YouTube Red.The new subscription service will provide ad-free videos for $9.99 a month. In addition to ad-free videos,you can save videos and watch them offline via your smart device. A new app called YouTube Music is coming as well, and will be cross compatible with Google Play Music. YouTube Red subscribes will get access to YouTube music and Google Play Music. Original series are also coming for Red subscribers, content from PewDiePie , Tobuscus and more will be debuting in January. YouTube Red is set to go live on October 28 in the US. Google plans to expand the service to other territories in 2016. If you'd like to try out the service free of charge, YouTube will be offering a 1 month trial on launch day. Ad-Free Youtube Subscription Coming In October ?


According to Recode, YouTube might be launching its subscription service at the end of October. Google has sent out emails to content creators, asking them to agree to the terms for an ads-free version by October 22nd. Its believed that  the ad free version will cost $10/month and will come bundled with Music Key, Youtube’s music streaming service that gives you offline access, background playback and more. YouTube To Launch Service For Ad Free Videos

YouTube is reportedly working on a subscription model that would remove ads from videos for paying customers. Reports say that the service is set to launch in the next few months The subscription model is meant to boost revenue and help content creators on YouTube while also providing customers with options. This service will likely be similar to the pilot test YouTube launched back in 2013, during which people could pay $1 a month for ad-free videos. No details surrounding price or the intricacies of the service are known at this time.
