Apple Announces Event For March 25. TV/Movie/Magazine Subscription Services Expected


The Apple event at which the company is expected to announce its long-awaited TV and movie subscription service, as well as a subscription version of the Apple News service, has been announced for March 25, 2019 at the Steve Jobs Theater on the Apple Park Campus in Cupertino, California.

Microsoft Announces Xbox Game Pass


Microsoft has announced the Xbox Game Pass, a $9.99 a
month service for Xbox One and PC that allows subscribers to play a rotating catalog of downloadable Xbox One and backwards-compatible Xbox 360 games. The service will be available in the spring, and features Microsoft first-party titles as well as partnerships with publishers such as 2K, Capcom, Sega, Bandai Namco, THQ, Deep Silver and many more. First up are, Halo 5: Guardians, Payday 2, NBA 2K16, and SoulCalibur II. Microsoft has already started testing the program via select Xbox Insider Program members and Xbox Live Gold members get exclusive access sometime before launch. New games will cycle in each month as they replace others. Pass members can purchase titles and any DLC for the game at a discount before they're rotated out of the service.

YouTube To Lauch Ad Free Subscription Service


According to a letter sent to YouTube partners, YouTube will introduce a monthly subscription service that will allow you to watch as many videos as you want without ad’s. Google did not specify how much the ads-free YouTube subscription will cost or when it will be released, but its said to be released some time this year. YouTube will pay partners 55% of the total net revenues YouTube determines is attributable to the monthly views or watch time of their content. Would you subscribe to the service if it meant no ad’s ?

YouTube To Launch Service For Ad Free Videos

YouTube is reportedly working on a subscription model that would remove ads from videos for paying customers. Reports say that the service is set to launch in the next few months The subscription model is meant to boost revenue and help content creators on YouTube while also providing customers with options. This service will likely be similar to the pilot test YouTube launched back in 2013, during which people could pay $1 a month for ad-free videos. No details surrounding price or the intricacies of the service are known at this time.
