Guilty Gear Strive Has Been Delayed To June

 ArcSystemWorks has announced that Guilty Gear Strive has
been delayed until June 11, pushing it two months further back from its previous April 9 date. ArcSystemWorks says they will use the extra two months to focus on improving online lobbies and server stability. “We believe it best to use the extra time to improve the game’s quality and provide a better experience to all our players. Thank you for your patience and understanding.”

Guilty Gear Strive Releasing April 2021 For PS5, PS4 And PC

 Arc System Works has announced that Guilty Gear Strive will be released on April 9, 2021, on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC. The Deluxe/Ultimate Edition of the game will be
available on April 6, 2021.
The roster includes such characters as Sol Badguy, Ky Kiske, May, Faust, Potemkin, Chipp Zanuff, Zato-1, Millia Rage, and more.

Guilty Gear Strive Has Been Delayed To 2021 Due To COVID-19

Arc System Works has announced that Guilty Gear Strive has been delayed to 2021. The fighting game was originally scheduled to be released later this year.

Guilty Gear Strive producer Takeshi Yamanaka announced the delay in a tweet on the official Arc System Works Twitter account. 

“While our company’s staff and our business partners are putting in a sincere effort in dealing with the changes due to the spread of COVID-19, every aspect of our development schedule has faced delays. In addition, we have decided to set up a schedule to further improve the quality of the game responding to everyone’s help and feedback from the recent closed beta test.”

5 New Characters Are Coming To BlazBlue:Cross Tag Battle


Arc System Works has announced a number of new characters for BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle. The characters are Celica A. Mercury from BlazBlue: Central Fiction, Elizabeth from Persona 4 Arena Ultimax, Tohru Adachi from Persona 4 Arena Ultimax, Hilda from Under Night In-Birth, and Susanoo from BlazBlue: Central Fiction. The Version 2.0 update will be available for download on November 21st.

BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle DLC Characters Announcement Coming In Late September


Arc System Works will reveal 5 new unannounced playable DLC characters coming to BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle on September 22nd during the Arc Nama SP live stream which kicks off at 11am JST. The characters are part of the Version 2.0 Content Pack. 
The Version 2.0 update will be available on November 21st and includes various character balance adjustments. There will be paid DLC on the very same day for $24.99 and it includes nine characters. Here are the characters who have have already been announced:
  • Yumi from Senran Kagura: Estival Versus
  • Blitztank from Akatsuki Blitzkampf
  • Akatsuki from Akatsuki Blitzkampf
  • Neo Politan from RWBY

A New Guilty Gear Game Is Coming In 2020


During EVO 2019, Arc System Works revealed that a new Guilty Gear is coming soon. You can check out the teaser trailer for the game below, which features the series main characters (Sol Badguy and Ky Kiske) battling it out and teases another character at the end with a robotic mask. The game is expected to release in 2020.

BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle Version 2.0 Coming In November


During EVO 2019, a new BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle update has been announced, along with a new trailer. Arc System Works confirmed that the Version 2.0 expansion pack will arrive on November 21st for $24.99. 9 new fighter will be added, including Yumi (Senran Kagura Estival Versus), Neo Politan (RWBY), Akatsuki (Akatsuki Blitzkampf) and Blitztank (Akatsuki Blitzkampf). There will also be “a brand new scenario, new character interactions and colors”, along with a free “version 2.0 patch” that will be on the way, which will be a “balance adjustment for all users of BBTAG, so you can still play against 2.0 characters without the Ver. 2.0 Expansion Pack”. The game is currently available on Nintendo Switch, Playstation 4 and PC via Steam.

River City Girls Comes To Consoles And PC In September


WayForward has revealed River City Girls and it’s heading to PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch and PC on September 5th. You can check out the trailer of the game in the tweet below. We have also included details directly from WayForward. 
“River City Girls stars Kyoko and Misako, two street-tough high-schoolers who must fight their way through the six regions of River City to rescue their kidnapped boyfriends, series mainstays Kunio and Riki. Along the way, they’ll utilize an arsenal of combos, counters, throws, and special attacks; battle an assortment of enemies; accept numerous side quests; level up with experience points; interact with NPCs (including guest stars from past River City games); and shop for a variety of items, food, and gear to boost stats and unlock new abilities. Kill La Kill: IF Releasing In July


Kill La Kill: IF finally has a release date. The game from ARC System Works is coming on July 26th for PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and PC. Mako Mankanshoku and Ultimate Double Naked DTR will also be free DLC in the Summer.

Arc System Works Announces Worldwide Tournament, New Guilty Gear Content And New BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle DLC Announced


During Evo 2018, Arc System Works, the developer behind games like Guilty Gear, BlazBlue, and Dragon Ball FighterZ, announced a worldwide tournament for its own games. Called the ArcRevo World Tour, the company is planning a series of $100,000 tournaments in the U.S., Japan and Europe.
ArcSys also announced that Daisuke Ishiwatari, the artist and director behind the Guilty Gear series, is currently in Japan working on new Guilty Gear content. They did not clarify what this would be a new revision to Xrd, DLC, or something else entirely. DLC for BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle was announced as well. You check out which characters were announced in the trailer below. 
Finally, they teased that a fifth franchise is joining BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle, which currently includes BlazBlue, RWBY, Under Night Inbirth, and Persona 4 Arena.

Guilty Gear Coming To PS4, PC And Nintendo Switch


Arc System Works has announced that a port of the original Guilty Gear will be making an appearance on the Nintendo Switch. The game was confirmed on a live stream celebrating the 20th anniversary of the series. The game doesn’t have a release date as of yet. More news to come.

Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus R Coming To Nintendo Switch


Arc System Works has confirmed that Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus R is coming to the Nintendo Switch. The game is already available on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PC, and the PlayStation Vita. A release date for the game has yet to be announced at this time.

BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle Collector’s Edition Details Announced


Arc System Works has unveiled the collector’s edition for BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle which will be available on the official Arc System Works Gear store and Rooster Teeth on May 4th.
Arc System Works Co., Ltd. is pleased to unveil new details concerning the release of the collector’s edition of the team anime fighting game, BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle for the Sony Playstation 4, the Nintendo Switch, and PC (Steam), releasing June 5, 2018. The collector’s edition can only be pre-ordered as a limited edition on the official Arc System Works Gear store (which is currently under development) on May 4th, 2018. The collector’s edition will also be available on the Official Rooster Teeth store at https://store.roosterteeth.com/ on June 5, 2018.
The BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle Collector’s Edition will include:

The team behind BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle, ArcSystemWorks, have announced on Twitter that if you purchase the 2D fighting in the first 2 weeks of its release you are entitled to the Cross Tag Character Pack 1. BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle Pricing Revealed, Has Full English Dub And Dual Audio


More details about BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle have been released. The fighting game will cost you $49.99 and if you want the complete downloadable content then it will cost you an additional $20. BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle will also have full English dubbing and dual audio option available. Here’s the details:
  • Retail price for physical and digital: $49.99
  • Individual DLC packs (there are 6): $4.99
  • Complete DLC bundle: $19.99
  • Deluxe Digital Edition (the game with all the DLC): $69.99
  • The first DLC pack, which includes Platinum, Orie, and Kanji, is free for everyone at launch.
  • Per earlier confirmation, Blake Belladona and Yang Xiao Long will be free to download.

Blake Belladonna And Yang Xiao Long From RWBY Will Be Free DLC In BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle

Back in January Arc System Works revealed that Blake Belladonna from RWBY is coming to the game as a DLC character. Now it turns out she will be free of charge along with the last member of team RWBY: Yang Xiao Long, Ruby’s sister. 
It’s unclear whether this was planned all along, or if this is a reaction to some of the backlash after the Blake and DLC roster announcement, which revealed 20 core characters and 20 additional DLC characters. BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle will launch on PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and Steam on May 29th in Japan, and June 5th in North America.

BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle Releasing On June 5, Will Have 20 DLC Characters

Arc System Works' has announced that there tag tag team anime fighting game, BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle, is releasing on May 31 in Japan and June 5 in North America. Also announced on the official Arc System Works website, the developers announced that BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle will have a base roster of 20 fighters, with 20 more characters getting added as DLCs. The first DLC fighter announced is Blade Belladonna from RWBY.

During Evo 2017, Arc System Works announced a crossover fighting game. BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle features characters from franchises like Persona, Under Night In-Birth, RWBY, and of course, BlazBlue.
