Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Is Coming This October

During Ubisoft's E3 conference, more info about Assassin’s Creed Odyssey was revealed. The game is set in 431 B.C., during the Peloponnesian war in ancient Greece. Players choose between playing as Alexios or Kassandra, and then explore and shape a vast open world, including full naval gameplay, branching storylines, and an unprecedented degree of role-playing flexibility.

“Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is pushing the franchise into a full RPG,” says Ubisoft’s Jonathan Dumont. “We want the decisions and the choices you make to change the world, the storylines, and the characters you meet. We did not want you to live an odyssey and spectate. We wanted you to live your odyssey.”
The development of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is being led by Ubisoft Quebec, with help from Ubisoft’s myriad other internal studios. The Quebec team has been working on Odyssey since development of its last game, Assassin’s Creed Syndicate, wrapped up around three years ago. Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on October 5.

Ubisoft Confirms Assassin's Creed Odyssey Will Be At E3

Ubisoft has announced a new Assassin's Creed title,  Assassin's Creed Odyssey. The short clip Ubisoft has posted on Twitter shows someone in assassin garb being kicked off a cliff by a spartan soldier, 300 anyone ? Both the tweet and the video then simply say "See you at E3." It turns out to be Assassin's Creed Odyssey, likely named to invoke the ancient Greek epic poem of the same name written by Homer. Between Assassin's Creed Syndicate and Assassin's Creed Origins, the French developer announced that they would be pursuing a 2 year development cycle for the series to focus on quality. It is unknown when Odyssey is planned to be released at the moment. Ubisoft's E3 conference takes place on Monday, June 11 at 1:00 p.m. PT. Thoughts ?
