The game will take place before any other title in the Kingdom Hearts timeline, telling the story of the original Keyblade Wielders. Gameplay will revolve around collecting medals and completing live events, in both cooperative and competitive scenarios live with other players. Kingdom Hearts is coming to mobile. Kingdom Hearts Unchained X will be released for iOS and Android devices on April 7, 2016. Square Enix Announces Kingdom Hearts 2.8: Final Chapter Prologue
At Sonys TGS 2015 conference Square Enix has announced Kingdom Hearts 2.8: Final Chapter Prologue for PlayStation 4. Kingdom Hearts 2.8 will contain a HD remaster of Dream Drop Distance, Unchained X called Back Cover and Birth by Sleep 0.2 - A Fragmentary Passage -, which is a completely new part of the story taking place after the events of the original Birth by Sleep. The first official trailer for the game will be shown on September 17.
