Apple is working on a special pair of augmented reality glasses that resemble the specs Steve Jobs famously wore, according to Apple leaker Jon Prosser. Called the “Steve Jobs Heritage Edition,” this limited-edition version of Apple Glass would be round like a classic pair of John Lennon-style glasses. Prosser says the company would position it as a special edition of the core AR glasses. The AR glasses will arrive in 2021or 2022. It must be tethered to an iPhone to work.

Tim Cook Remembering Steve Jobs on 4th Anniversary of His Death

Team,
Today marks four years since Steve passed away. On that day, the world lost a visionary. We at Apple lost a leader, a mentor, and many of us lost a dear friend.
Steve was a brilliant person, and his priorities were very simple. He loved his family above all, he loved Apple, and he loved the people with whom he worked so closely and achieved so much.
Each year since his passing, I have reminded everyone in the Apple community that we share the privilege and responsibility of continuing the work Steve loved so much.
What is his legacy? I see it all around us: An incredible team that embodies his spirit of innovation and creativity. The greatest products on earth, beloved by customers and empowering hundreds of millions of people around the world. Soaring achievements in technology and architecture. Experiences of surprise and delight. A company that only he could have built. A company with an intense determination to change the world for the better.
And, of course, the joy he brought his loved ones.
He told me several times in his final years that he hoped to live long enough to see some of the milestones in his children’s lives. I was in his office over the summer with Laurene and their youngest daughter. Messages and drawings from his kids to their father are still there on Steve’s whiteboard.
If you never knew Steve, you probably work with someone who did or who was here when he led Apple. Please stop one of us today and ask what he was really like. Several of us have posted our personal remembrances on AppleWeb, and I encourage you to read them.
Thank you for honoring Steve by continuing the work he started, and for remembering both who he was and what he stood for.
Tim
What does Steve Jobs mean you ? What kind of person do you think he was ?
To me he was a man who wanted to change the world and the way we think, and I’ll be damned if he didn’t succeed in doing just that.

Is The Rumored iPad Pro Coming With A Stylus ?
It looks like that the upcoming 12.9 inch iPad Pro will come with a stylus. With its bigger screen, the iPad Pro isn’t going to be for casual user. Its likely that artistic types and creatives will gravitate towards the iPad Pro. To appeal to these users even more, Apple will integrate a stylus into the iPad Pro. Also according to rumors the iPad Pro will go on sale roughly in Q2 or Q3 of 2015. If Steve Jobs was still around we wouldn’t even hear of an iOS device with a stylus. When the iPhone was first reveled Steve said “who wants a stylus?” You can watch that clip here.

Happy Birthday To The Original iPod
13 years ago today, on October 23, 2001 Apple did something that would change the way we would listen to music and the world. They introduced the iPod. The iPod featured a black and white display and a 5GB hard drive, which was a lot back then as it promised to put 1,000 songs in your pocket for $399. A lot has changed sine the first iPod was released. Some would say if it wasn’t for the iPod the iPhone and even the iPad wouldn’t be here today. Sadly, Apple stopped selling the iPod Classic in September and the company announced that the iPod will no longer have its own line of products.

Steve Jobs Has His Own Manga ?
The life of Apple founder Steve Jobs is already a book and also a movie, so why not adapt it into a Japanese comic as well? That appears to be just what has happened. It's noted that the book is "based on" the official Steve Jobs biography by Walter Isaacson, though just how close it stays to the source material is anyone's guess.
