The demo for Resident Evil 7 won’t be apart of the final game, according to director Koushi Nakanishi. “The teaser demo is a bespoke experience that isn’t just a slice of gameplay from the main game," Nakanishi told IGN, saying it's "kind of a tonal preview instead of a content preview." He also stressed the demo doesn't feature all of the gameplay pillars that will ultimately be included in Resident Evil 7, noting it's only focusing on the "key pillars which are fear and horror and exploration of an environment."
