Get A Pair Of Free Wireless Headphones If You Sign Up For Samsung Pay

Samsung really wants you to sign up for Samsung Pay, so they’re sweeting the deal by offering a free pair of Level U wireless headphones if you sign up. You’ll need to be at least 18 years old and own either a Galaxy S6, S6 edge, S6 edge+ or Note 5 to be eligible. Once you activate the service on your smartphone and add a working card, you need to go to the More menu in the Samsung Pay app and tap Announcements, then Samsung Pay Card Registration Offer, and then agree to the terms to get a coupon code for the black pair of Level U headphones (which are worth $69.99). The promotion ends on February 22 at 11:59 pm EST and you’ll need to redeem the code by March 15. 

Samsung Gear VR Is Getting A Web Browser

Samsung is releasing a web browser for their Gear VR, which will allow users to use a web browser and stream video without downloading apps. The web browser for Gear VR will support 360 degree and 3D video streaming, as well as HTML5 video.  Which means Youtube videos will be supported in the web browser. Internet for VR also features voice recognition support along with an on-screen keyboard. An interesting feature of the Gear VR is the “Gaze Mode”, which gives users the ability to pick and choose things by just staring at them. Samsung Internet for VR launches on December 2, on the Oculus Store. You'll need a Galaxy S6, Galaxy S6 edge, Galaxy S6 edge+, Galaxy Note 4 or Galaxy Note 5 to use the Gear VR.

The Samsung Gear VR Will Be Available On November 20

Oculus and Samsung have announced that the Gear VR is now available for pre-order and will ship on November 20. The retail version of the Gear VR is 19% lighter, features a redesigned touchpad, and is compatible with a wider range of phones compared to the Innovator Edition.  You can use the Galaxy Note 5, Galaxy S6 edge+, S6, and S6 edge.You can pre-order the Gear VR with Samsung, Best Buy and Amazon. The Gear VR will cost you $99. I'm interested to see how well this sells. It might be a good estimate to see if people are interested in VR and what the future of VR could look like. Yes I know the Oculus Rift is WAY more powerful but The Gear VR could be a way to expose people to VR and in return sell more Oculus Rift's. What do you think ?

Bendgate Resurfaces With The Samsung Galaxy S6

SquareTrade has recently released a video showing the durability of the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge and HTC One M9, discovering the Galaxy to bend at 110 lbs of pressure and the One M9 to bend at 120 lbs of pressure. Although the Galaxy S6 Edge's pressure limits are comparable to the iPhone 6 Plus' testing, the Galaxy's screen ended up cracking under the pressure instead of slightly bending similar to the iPhone 6 plus. The HTC One M9 lasted further than its 2 competitors, reaching 120 lbs of pressure. Testing to the point of unusable, the iPhone 6 Plus survived 179 lbs of pressure, beating out the Galaxy S6 Edge's 149 lbs stress test. As SquareTrade points out, the Galaxy's stress tests proves the phone could be worse for users due to the smartphone's screen cracking under intense pressure. So it looks like “Bendgate” has spared to the Galaxy S6 Edge as well. As we know in September 2014 iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus users experience “Bendgate”  where users would have there phones in there pants pocket and the phone would easily bend. Samsung Reveals The Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge

Samsung has unveiled the Galaxy S6 and the S6 Edge. They are Samsung’s best smartphones so far, completely redesigned from scratch to counter the criticism received for the Galaxy S5 and other Samsung flagships that came before it. The Galaxy S6 look a lot like other Samsung devices from the front, but flip it over and you’ll find a gorgeous glass back encased in a chamfered aluminum frame with rounded. Both devices are powered by Samsung’s Exynos 7 series processors, 3GB of RAM, and either 32GB, 64GB, or 128GB of internal storage. They have 5.1-inch Quad HD (2560×1440) displays, 16 megapixel rear-facing cameras with optical image stabilization, and 5-megapixel front facing cameras. The Galaxy S6 has a 2,550mAh battery, while the S6 Edge’s is slightly bigger at 2,600mAh. They are the first Samsung smartphones to have wireless charging built-in, and they support both the WPC and PMA wireless charging standards. Both devices also offer improved fingerprint scanners embedded within their home buttons, which no longer require a swipe; you simply place your finger upon them similar to Touch ID.The biggest downside is their lack of a microSD card slot, which is a feature many Android users are accustomed to. Samsung has softened the blow by providing a 128GB storage option, but this is still going to be an issue for some. Part of the reason for this is the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge don’t have removable back panels like other Samsung handsets, which means their batteries are fixed, too. You can no longer pull them out when they die and replace them with a fresh one while you’re on the go, then. Samsung also promises great battery life, however, and fast charging technology that’ll give theGalaxy S6 around 4 hours of usage after just 10 minutes of being plugged in. The Galaxy S6 will initially come in black, white, gold, and blue, and it will go on sale globally on April 10. The S6 Edge will be available on the same date in black, gold, and Emerald Green.
