Niantic Talks About Its Continuing Commitment To Pokémon GO Real-World Play

Pokemon GO has been available on mobile devices for almost 7 years at this point. Niantic continues to provide the game with a ton of support, and the most recent illustration of this can be seen in a new blog post the business published on the official Pokemon GO website.

Niantic had made the decision to talk about "our renewed commitment to improving Pokémon GO's in-person experience" in the blog post. The corporation specifically mentions the Community Ambassador Program, Campfire, and game updates as three components that assist their effort.

Niantic says they're working on ways to make it simpler for users to take part in local Raid Battles and develop friendships with Trainers they've engaged in combat with. They also intend to include "new features that provide rewards and encounters with additional Pokémon while roaming outside" and "enhancements to the gaming experience when playing in person with family and friends".

The second feature Niantic introduced was Campfire, which allowed "Trainers to interact, discover local groups, and find active nearby Raid Battles". Despite the fact that they did not provide any specifics, they did state that further upgrades would be coming "soon" for Campfire.

Last but not least, Niantic discussed the Community Ambassador Program, which aims to "nurture in-person Pokémon GO communities while also developing new communities for Trainers to find". Niantic just mentions that they "look forward to sharing additional details about the initiative later this year, including new ways to join and celebrate your local community" in their statement regarding it.

Valentine's Day is being commemorated in a variety of ways in Pokémon Go. From February 10 to 14, you'll have the opportunity to participate in new activities and see the Pokémon Flabébé for the first time.

This fairy-type Pokémon can evolve twice and rides atop a flower. It will turn into Floette if you feed it 25 candies. It'll become Florges if you give it another 100 candies, but only after you've earned 20 hearts with it as a companion. Flabébé is a Generation VI Pokémon with the Pokédex number 669. You'll also be able to develop Furfrou in a unique method throughout the event. You may choose the Heart Trip to give it a festive Valentine's Day design if you feed it 25 candies and 10,000 stardust.

Along with the notable Pokémon, you'll also come into the typical suspects in the wild. Luvdisc, Chansey, Plusle, Minun, Miltank, Audino, Alomomola, Woobat, Volbeat, and Illumise are among the artists on this list. There are also gleaming versions of each of them. Mega Houndoom will be the lone Mega Raid, with Registeel being the sole Pokémon in five-star raids. Spinda goes back to her field research duties, wearing a heart design this time. Spinda may be gleaming as well.

Pokemon Go Bulbasaur Community Day Classic Happening On January 22nd

Niantic hosts a special day in Pokemon GO once a month that focuses on a single Pokemon. Community Day is a short-term event that usually lasts only a few hours. However, it generally leads to some fascinating changes for players, like as the

This is, however, an exception. The first Community Day of 2022 was announced late last month, but it isn't the only one that will take place in January. During the "Season of Heritage," there will also be a return to the event's beginnings. You may participate in the "Community Day Classic" event, which involves Bulbasaur, on January 22nd from 2pm to 5pm local time.

Bulbasaur will appear more frequently in the wild, and you can "access the Bulbasaur Community Day Classic–exclusive Special Research story: Bulbasaur Community Day Classic" for $1. You may also "evolve Ivysaur (Bulbasaur's Evolution) during the event or up to two hours thereafter to receive a Venusaur that knows the Charged Attack Frenzy Plant," among other things.
