Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the 25th annual QuakeCon is going to be a little different then expected. QuakeCon is taking place on August 7-9 as a giant stream. Full of influencers, surprises, Bethesda community team members and more. Traditionally, we're treated to at least some bits of news from the Bethesda universe during this convention, and hopefully this year is no different. Esports tournaments! Charities! Among many great charities to supports, one of them will be a special Animal Charity associated with some adorable new shirts for sale (100% of proceeds to charity). DuringQuakeCon 2019, Bethesda announced three beloved games from the DOOM series are available on a new set of platforms. Doom (1993), Doom II (1994), and Doom 3 (2004) are now more easily accessible than ever.
Panic Button, which has done fantastic work creating ports of Doom (2016), Wolfenstein: The New Colossus, and Wolfenstein: Youngblood for the Nintendo Switch, worked their magic to have Doom 3 run on the system.
The three games are available on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, iOS, and Android. Doom and Doom II cost $4.99, whereas Doom 3 costs $9.99. The games require you to log into a free Bethesda account before playing for the first time, but after that you're free to play offline.
QuakeCon 2017 is now upon us, with that Bethesda has announced release dates for 3 of it’s VR titles. Skyrim VR (PSVR) is out November 17, Doom VFR (PSVR/HTC Vive) December 1, and Fallout 4 VR (Vive) on December 12. Stay tuned for more news from QuakeCon 2017.

During Bethesda's Quakecon 2016 conference the company announced an open beta for The Elder Scrolls: Legends, the free to play card game based on the Elder Scrolls series. Those interested players can download the beta through the Bethesda.net launcher and read up on basic and advanced strategies for the game on the official site. The Elder Scrolls: Legends is set to launch for iOS and PC later this year.
