Phil Spencer Envisions Elder Scrolls VI As An Xbox Exclusive

The Xbox-Bethesda acquisition has many wondering what is the fate of the next Elder Scrolls title. A GQ interview with Xbox lead Phil Spencer unearthed some exciting new details about Bethesda’s flagship video game series. Nothing is confirmed yet, but Phil Spencer envisions Elder Scrolls VI as an Xbox exclusive. 

This exclusivity would be a groundbreaking decision for the games community and the western RPG scene if cleared. “Starfield, arguably the biggest game of 2022, will be Xbox and PC only,” the GQ article reads. “Spencer says he sees the same for The Elder Scrolls VI.” Spencer himself went on to say that having sole rights to both highly-anticipated Bethesda titles isn’t about “punishing any other platform.” Instead, “In order to be on Xbox, I want us to be able to bring the full complete package of what we have. And that would be true when I think about Elder Scrolls VI. That would be true when I think about any of our franchises.”

Borderlands 3, Cyberpunk 2077 And More Are Coming To Google Stadia

Google Stadia arrives this November, and we now know more about the sizable lineup of games coming at launch. Google announced Borderlands 3, The Elder Scrolls Online,  Darksiders Genesis, Destroy All Humans 3, Mortal Kombat 11, Super Hot, Farming Simulator 19, Samurai Shodown, Grid, Doom Eternal, Attack on Titan 2, Windjammers 2, and Kine are coming to the service at launch. Also is should be noted that Cyberpunk 2077 and WatchDo Legion are also coming to Google Stadia.

Bethesda Teases The Elder Scrolls VI

During the Bethesda E3 conference, Todd Howard closed out the conference with a big announcement for one of its biggest series, showcasing The Elder Scrolls VI. Unfortunately, outside of the confirmation that it is being worked on on other details are known. All that we really know is that it’ll release after Starfield, that is according to what Todd Howard said. Check out the tease below.

The Elder Scrolls Blades Coming To Mobile This Fall [DELAYED]

During the Bethesda E3 conference, A new Elder Scrolls game is coming to mobile and consoles, with a first-person perspective and "console-quality graphics," according to Todd Howard. Elder Scrolls Blades has three modes; a roguelike dungeon crawl, a PvP arena, and a story mode based around rebuilding a town. The towns will be customizable to each player. Howard says that multiplayer will be entirely cross-platform, with someone on their phone being able to battle someone in VR playing from a PC. The game will be free-to-play and is available to pre-order. The game is said to release in the fall, but the listing on the Apple App Store says it will release on September 1, 2018.

Check Out Elder Scrolls Online Free For A Week

Bethesda is hosting a free to play event for The Elder Scrolls Online, starting today. Players will have access to the complete game on PC and console, and if you like what you see you can buy the Tamriel Unlimited base game or Gold Edition at a discount. Starting at 10AM ET, you can download the game on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, or PC. Bethesda is also giving players 500 Crowns which can be used to buy pets, cosmetics, and other in-game items. If you choose to buy the game later, you'll be able to keep whatever progress and items you've acquired during your free time with the game.

Bethesda Announces Open Beta For The Elder Scrolls Legends

During Bethesda's Quakecon 2016 conference the company announced an open beta for The Elder Scrolls: Legends, the free to play card game based on the Elder Scrolls series. Those interested players can download the beta through the Bethesda.net launcher and read up on basic and advanced strategies for the game on the official site. The Elder Scrolls: Legends is set to launch for iOS and PC later this year. 

The Elder Scrolls: Legends Is Now In Closed Beta

Bethesda has announced that The Elder Scrolls: Legends is now in closed beta. You can sign up to participate in the PC version of the beta starting today. A new gameplay trailer for the game was also released, which provides an overview of what you can expect for the card game.
