Resident Evil Revelations Coming To PS4, Xbox One And Switch, Revelations 2 Also Coming To Switch

Capcom has announced that an enhanced port of  Resident Evil Revelations will be coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch. Resident Evil Revelations was originally released in 2012 for the 3DS, with an HD port coming to PS3, Xbox 360, Wii U, and PC in 2013. Capcom says the latest revision features 1080p visuals, a better FPS and improved textures and enemy animations. The game follows Jill Valentine and Chris Redfield as they try to uncover the mysteries behind an abandoned cruise ship. The enhanced version of Resident Evil Revelations is coming to PS4 and Xbox One on August 29 for $19.99. This includes all of the previously released DLC. In addition to getting the first game, Nintendo Switch players will be able to play Resident Evil Revelations 2 later this year. The sequel was released on a variety of platforms in 2015. There's no word yet on the price or specific release dates for those games on Nintendo Switch. Stay tuned for more details.

Resident Evil Revelations 2 Coming To PS Vita Next Month

Resident Evil Revelations 2 is coming to the PS Vita next month, and it will offer some additional content. The game will be available for $39.99 on August 18, and everything is collected in one package instead of being split into episodes. You’ll also get the  2 extra episodes, The Struggle and Little Miss, as well as Raid Mode, which includes Wesker and Hunk. Who says Vita doesn’t have games ? You look silly now, don’t you. Capcom Removes Features From Resident Evil Revelations 2 PC

The PC version of Resident Evil: Revelations 2 will not include an offline co-op mode even though that feature has been listed on the game's Steam store page earlier. The description of features in the game still says that players will be able to overcome the nightmares in either single player mode with an AI partner or offline co-op, but also says at the bottom of the page that the PC version does not support offline co-op play in the Campaign or Raid Mode. Capcom said this in a statement "The decision to prioritize a single local screen was made to ensure a stable user experience across a variety of different PC settings and devices. "Raid mode will support online co-op shortly after launch when a free patch is available for players to download which adds this feature, but the main campaign on PC will only be available to play in single local screen." Revelations 2 is comprised of 4 episodes, with one being released each week until March 17. In addition to PC, the game is out on PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Xbox 360. The game is also said to come out on the PlayStation Vita sometime in the future. 

Resident Evil Revelations 2 Will Be Released in Episodes

Capcom has announced that Resident Evil Revelations 2 will come in four weekly episodes some time in 2015. The episodes will cost $5.99 each in the US. Capcom will also release a season pass which will cost $24.99, and a disc based version which is priced at $39.99.

So it looks like the rumors are true as Resident Evil Revelations 2 is launching in 2015. The news of the game actually existing came from the  pre-TGS PlayStation press conference. The game is coming to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC, but not to Nintendo 3DS or Wii U. Which is the opposite for Resident Evil Revelations 1 as it was released on Nintendo’s 3DS handheld, then was released for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii U and PC. No word on if the game will ever be on A Nintendo console. More news will most likely be released when TGS officially starts on September 19.

Did Resident Evil Revelations 2 Get Leaked ?

A French website called Gamer in a box noticed that Xbox.com hosted two media images for Resident Evil Revelations 2 before taking the listing off the site. Resident Evil Revelations was released on 3DS before coming to PC, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Wii U. Capcom is apparently happy with sales of Resident Evil Revelations and possibly pushing the company to double down on a sequel. In addition, Resident Evil 1 is getting remastered for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, and Xbox 360 next year.
