MultiVersus Features Characters Like Arya Stark, Bugs Bunny, Batman And More

Warner Bros. Games has announced MultiVersus, a free-to-play platform fighter game featuring team-based 2v2 combat between characters like Batman, Bugs Bunny, and Arya Stark. 

“Featuring matches with a strong emphasis on online cooperative gameplay, every fighter will be outfitted with a deep set of combat mechanics that distinguish the game’s fresh take on 2 vs. 2 gameplay,” a press release about the announcement reads. “This allows combatants to boast customizable movesets that combine dynamically with other characters as they battle for supremacy. From Wonder Woman and her Lasso truth attack being unexpectedly paired with Shaggy and his sandwich projectile, to Arya Stark’s face-swapping ability being used to complement Superman’s laser vision, the impossible can become possible through surprising team combinations and matchups.” 

One fascinating feature about MultiVersus is the voice cast, which features many of the original or best-known voice actors for these characters.

MultiVersus comes to  PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC with cross-play, dedicated server rollback netcode, and more in 2022.

Warner Bros Games Is No Longer For Sale

AT&T have decided against selling off Warner Bros Interactive Entertainment. AT&T CEO, Jason Kilar, has recently emailed staff about his plans for restructuring the company and mentioned that the gaming side of the company is staying put, for now. Warner Bros gaming division includes Rocksteady, NeatherRealm and LEGO games developer, TT Games. The news follows the announcement that Rocksteady is working on a new Suicide Squad game.
“The Warner Bros. Motion Pictures Group continues to be led by Chairman Toby Emmerich. Warner Bros. Television Studios group continues to be led by Chairman Peter Roth. Warner Bros. Interactive remains part of the Studios and Networks group, along with our Global Brands and Franchises team including DC led by Pam Lifford, and our Kids, Young Adults and Classics business led by Tom Ascheim, all focused on engaging fans with our brands and franchises through games and other interactive experiences.”

LEGO The Incredibles Will Release Alongside The Film On June 15


Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, TT Games, The LEGO Group, Disney and Pixar, today announced LEGO The Incredibles, a new video game where players take control of their favorite Incredibles characters in unforgettable scenes and action sequences from both Disney Pixar films, The Incredibles and the upcoming Incredibles 2. The game encourages players to work together by combining the Parr family’s abilities and unique powers to conquer crime and family life in a LEGO world full of fun and humor. LEGO The Incredibles will be available for Nintendo Switch , PlayStation 4 computer entertainment system, Xbox One, and PC in North America on June 15 and in the UK on July 13.

It’s Confirmed, LEGO Dimensions Is No More


It was reported last week that the LEGO Dimensions franchise was done and now the official LEGO Dimensions Twitter account has confirmed the news. Sadly, the ultimate mashup franchise is finished and they won’t be producing anymore expansion packs. You can read the full statement below.

LEGO Dimensions Has Reportedly Come To An End

LEGO Dimensions is no more as Warner Bros has pulled the plug on the series which saw various crossovers including Batman, Lord of the Rings and the A-Team. The news was confirmed internally via an email to staff which reads:

“Thanks so much to everyone for making Dimensions possible,” Dootson said. “As difficult as it has been, it is worth celebrating the incredible achievement it represents in the quality of the game, the amazing blend of IPs and the challenging technical demands it presented. It stands as a real testament to the talent within TT.”

Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War Comes To iOS And Android This Fall


Warner Bros. Interactive has announced that Middle-earth: Shadow of War is coming to iOS and Android devices with its own mobile game. The game will feature fan-favorite characters from Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor and the Lord of the Rings trilogy, including Celebrimbor, Gimli, Boromir among others. The series acclaimed Nemesis System also returns in the mobile game, giving players the chance to build their own army of loyal Orc followers. Middle-earth: Shadow of War mobile will be available in the fall on iOS and Android and is open for pre-registration now. Check out the trailer below.

Warner Bros. Games Montreal Is Working On 2 DC Comic Game’s


Warner Bros. Games Montreal reportedly has 2 new DC Comics game in development. The studio has posted an official announcement for applicants on there website, announcing the development of 2 AAA projects "focused on expanding the DC Comics universe in the interactive space." The job listing’s range from software developers and programmers to artists and designers. It's also rumored that one of the games is a suicide Squad game, while the other is a Super Man game. What do you think of these games being in development ?

Four New Superman Collector Coins From Canada


The Royal Canadian Mint and Warner Bros. have introduced four collector coins this week featuring DC comics Superman. These four new gold and silver collector coins feature various Superman comic book covers throughout the years. These four new Superman coins will be available on September 2nd at the Royal Canadian Mint boutique in Ottawa, Winnipeg and Vancouver along with certain participating Canada post outlets.
