Apple Now Allowing In Store Pickup For Australia And Canada


Apple has launched an in store pickup in Australia And Canada allowing customers in those countries to order and pay for devices online and pick them up in Apple Retail  Stores. Personal Pickup is available for a number of Apple products, from Macs, Apple Watch to the iPhone, iPad, and the Apple TV. When an order is placed for an in stock item for Personal Pickup, Apple employees get it ready to go and then send an email to a customer whenever it's ready. Out of stock items are able to be shipped to a store for Personal Pickup. What do you think of Apple adding in store pickup in Canada and Australia ?

Apple Pay Launching in Canada This Week


According to iPhone in Canada, Apple Pay is expected to launch in Canada this Tuesday, November, 17 exclusively with American Express. Besides Canada, Apple is also partnering with American Express to bring Apple Pay to Australia by the end of the year and to Spain, Singapore, and Hong Kong next year.

The Canadian App Store Apps Get A Price Increase

Looks like the days of $0.99 in the Canadian App Store have come to an end, thanks to the falling value of the Canadian loonie. Apps that were previously $0.99 are now $1.19, which is a 20% increase. Most other apps have only seen a 15% increase according to reports. The increase is a move on Apple's part to ensure that revenue generated in each of the international App Stores is on par with the other stores.

App Store Prices Rise In European Union Countries

Apple has increased the price of apps in all European Union countries, and in Canada, Norway, and Russia. Prices in Iceland, meanwhile, have been cut. In the United Kingdom, the price for the least expensive apps have increased from £0.69 ($1.04) to £0.79 ($1.19). On Jan. 1, newly passed legislation in Europe increased the price of apps, ebooks, and MP3s by an average of 6.5 %. Currency devaluations in Canada and Russia have led to the price increases in those nations.

New PS4 Bundle Exclusive To Canada

Sony has announced a new PlayStation 4 bundle for Canada that includes a system and copies of NHL 15 and LittleBigPlanet 3. The bundle will sell for $450. Those who live in Canada can preorder the PS4 bundle starting December 24, while the system itself will go on sale December 26.

PlayStation TV Launches In The US

Sony launched PlayStation TV in the United States and Canada on October 14. PlayStation TV comes to Europe in one month on November 14. The base package comes with a PS TV unit, HDMI cable, AC adapter, and AC power cord. There is also a $140 limited edition bundle includes everything from the base bundle, as well as a DualShock 3 controller, 8 GB memory card, USB cable, and a copy of The Lego Movie Video Game. Four New Superman Collector Coins From Canada


The Royal Canadian Mint and Warner Bros. have introduced four collector coins this week featuring DC comics Superman. These four new gold and silver collector coins feature various Superman comic book covers throughout the years. These four new Superman coins will be available on September 2nd at the Royal Canadian Mint boutique in Ottawa, Winnipeg and Vancouver along with certain participating Canada post outlets.
