Halo Online Gets Announce Trailer Only For Russia

The other day the free to play Halo Online was announced.Today a trailer was revealed for the game. The trailer shows off gameplay, graphics, weapons and more. The game is said to be running on a modified version of Halo 3 and runs well on lower end PC’s. There is to be a closed beta later in the spring, Halo Online unfortunately is exclusively for Russia. Microsoft hasn’t ruled out North America but no guarantee was made. check out the trailer below.

App Store Prices Rise In European Union Countries

Apple has increased the price of apps in all European Union countries, and in Canada, Norway, and Russia. Prices in Iceland, meanwhile, have been cut. In the United Kingdom, the price for the least expensive apps have increased from £0.69 ($1.04) to £0.79 ($1.19). On Jan. 1, newly passed legislation in Europe increased the price of apps, ebooks, and MP3s by an average of 6.5 %. Currency devaluations in Canada and Russia have led to the price increases in those nations.

Russia’s Online Apple Store Is Back And Things Are Pricier

After being offline for 6 days, the Russia Online Apple Store went back online today with crazy prices for the latest iPhones and other products as a direct result of the country’s collapsing ruble currency. The iPhone 6, for example, is now a whopping 54 % higher in price compared to Apple’s previous asking prices before the store went offline and will now cost shoppers 53,990 rubles for an entry level model with 16GB of storage, which comes out to about $984 off contract and excluding taxes. The 16GB iPhone 6 Plus is now priced at 61,990 rubles, or about $1,130, without a contract. As for the 128GB iPhone 6 Plus model is 77,990 rubles, or a crazy $1,424. It’s not just the newest iPhones, the Online Apple Store in Russia now shows higher prices for some Mac products. For instance, the 27 inch iMac with 5K Retina display costs 189,990 rubles for the baseline model, which comes out to  $3,468 versus $2,499 in the United States. Valve Changes Gifting Policys For Steam

Valve has recently changed its policy to stop users from gifting games bought for cheap in one country to users in another country. This doesn't seem to affect users in North America, Europe, and other territories where game prices are typically higher. This recent change prevents users in Russia from buying games for cheap, then reselling those games for a higher price in other countries for a small margin. Apple announced it shuttered Russia's online store due to fluctuations in the value of the ruble which you can read about here.

Apple Closed Online Store For Russia Due To Rouble Fluctuation

Apple is not selling iPads, iPhones and other products on its Russian website due to the extreme fluctuations in the rouble. Since the start of the week, the Russian currency has lost up to 20% of its value, kicking off a deluge of orders on imported electronics and other luxury goods before prices rise even further in the country.
