Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodhunt Fully Releases On April 27

Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodhunt, the free-to-play battle royale, will exit Early Access and launch on April 27.

Bloodhunt initially appeared in Steam Early Access in September of last year, and the 1.0 release means it will also be available on PlayStation 5. The third-person shooter takes place in Prague and puts players as vampires against each other. You may play alone or with buddies to take on other people as well as AI-controlled opponents. Which of the six vampire clans you associate with determines your magical talents. Players employ vampiric powers to climb and race up walls and suck blood from victims to increase health and improve powers, regardless of which side they select. Alternatively, you can just mow down targets with guns, crossbows, and other armaments.

Bloodhunt supports cross-play between PS5 and PC. Tempest 3D audio, adaptive trigger feedback, and little bonuses like the DualSense light indicating the color of your faction are all included in the PS5 edition. Despite the fact that the game is free, you may pre-order a Founders Edition for $59.99, which contains the following bonuses:

  • PS5 exclusive Samurai Mask
  • PS5 exclusive Headrush and Fast Forward outfits
  • Over 100 cosmetic items
  • 1,000 tokens for the in-game store

Here’s How To See What Games You Can Play On The Steam Deck

The Steam Deck is now available. You might be interested in seeing what games you can play on it. Fortunately, you can log into your Steam account and instantly check what's validated for Steam Deck, what's playable, and what won't function on it, thanks to a new Steam page. You'll notice four categories for your Steam Library games after less than a minute: Deck Verified Games From Your Library, Deck Playable Games From Your Library, Unsupported Deck Games From Your Library, and Untested Deck Games From Your Library.

Here’s what each means, according to Valve

  • Deck Verified: Valve’s testing indicates these titles from your Steam Library are fully functional on Steam Deck, and work great with built-in controls and display.
  • Deck Playable: Valve’s testing indicates these titles from your Steam Library are functional on Steam Deck, but might require extra effort to interact with or configure.
  • Unsupported: Valve’s testing indicates these games in your Steam Library currently don’t function on Steam Deck. Valve is continuing to add support for more games over time.
  • Untested: Valve’s testing team hasn’t yet gotten to the remaining games in your Steam library, but we’re testing new games every day. Come back often to see more of your library get Verified.

Valve's Steam Deck Delayed To 2022

The Valve Steam Deck has been delayed by two months. The handheld PC will now start shipping sometime in February 2022, instead of December of this year. The company blamed the delay on the ongoing global semiconductor crunch that has affected everything from GPU prices to car production

"We’re sorry about this — we did our best to work around the global supply chain issues, but due to material shortages, components aren’t reaching our manufacturing facilities in time for us to meet our initial launch dates," Valve said.

If you pre-ordered a Steam Deck before today, you will keep your current place in the reservation line, but the date when your Steam Deck will ship is moving back. Valve said it would update shipping estimates shortly after today's announcement.

Play Steam Games On iPhone, iPad And Apple TV With Steam Link

Valve's Steam Link app is available for Apple's devices. You’ll be able to stream you PC games on your iPhone, iPad and Apple TV, right from your PC. This isn’t quite cloud-streamed gaming, as your PC and Steam needs to be on in order to use the app. You’ll also need a decent connection, here’s all the requirements you’ll need to use SteamLink :

Requirements:
  • iPhone or iPad using iOS 10 or higher
  • Computer running Steam – Windows, Mac, or Linux
  • iOS device must be on the same local network as the computer running Steam

For best performance:
  • Connect your computer using Ethernet to your 5Ghz WiFi router
  • Connect your iOS device to the 5GHz band of your WiFi network
  • Keep your iOS device within a reasonable range of your router

This is more or less PS4 Remote play for Steam games. Only real difference is the latency, at least that’s all I can see from the short time I’ve used the app. Thoughts ?
