The Foundation Is Now Available To Unlock In Fortnite

 The Foundation is now available in Fortnite's Chapter 3 Season 1 battle pass, and yes, that is Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson. The following are the quests you must complete:

Page 1 of The Foundation Quests: Complete the Page 1 Quests in any order.

• Maintain the Perimeter: Visit Might Monument, a Seven Outpost, and Sanctuary to unlock The Foundation outfit. 
• Demonstrate the element of surprise: Snipe an opponent with a Sniper Rifle while crouching to unlock The Foundation’s Mantle Back Bling. 
• Keep your enemies close: Deal 100 melee damage to opponents to unlock The Foundation’s Plasma Spike Pickaxe. 
• Raid the IO armory: Search three chests or ammo boxes at Covert Cavern to unlock The Foundation’s Fortune Emoticon.
• Always be prepared: Use four shield potions in a single match to unlock the True Foundation Spray
• Never be too proud to recruit help: Hire a character and travel 1000 meters with them to unlock the Foundational Wrap. 

Once you complete all Page 1 quests, you’ll unlock Page 2 of The Foundation quests. 

Page 2 of The Foundation Quests: Complete Page 2 Quests in any order. 

• Give the new IO officer a warm welcome: Assist in eliminating Gunnar to unlock the Tactical Visor Toggle Emote The Foundation Outfit’s Unmasked Style. 
• Make the most of what you have: Deal 500 headshot damage to players with Common or Uncommon weapons to unlock the Combat Elite Foundation visor. 
• Gain the high ground: Deal 1000 damage to opponents from above with Shotguns or SMGs to unlock the Tactical Foundation visor. 
• Stock up at an Outpost and get ready: Land at a Seven Outpost and then finish Top 10 to unlock The Rocket Wing Glider. 

“For completing all of The Foundation Quests, you’ll unlock the Combat Style of The Foundation Outfit and The Foundation Mantle’s Back Bling, the Foundation’s Flame Style of the Foundation’s Plasma Spike Pickaxe, and the Ultimate Foundation visor,” an Epic Games press release reads. “If you won the Chapter 3 Season 1 Battle Pass, The Foundation Quests are available now in the ‘Quests’ page. The Quests are available for the whole rest of the season.” 

The Tomb Raider Reboot Trilogy Currently Available Free On The Epic Games Store

The Tomb Raider reboot trilogy is currently available for download for free on the Epic Games Store. You can get the Game of the Year Edition of 2013's Tomb Raider, 2015's Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration, and the 2018 definitive edition of Shadow of the Tomb Raider between now and January 6, 2022.

 Epic Games has unveiled the next Chapter in the long-running Fortnite, and there are a slew of brand-new features to look forward to. The island has altered considerably with
new weather conditions and fresh new spots in the new chapter, which is dubbed Flipped. Days Gone Comes To PC In May

 Sony has announced that Days Gone s coming to PC. This version of the game includes ultra-wide monitor support, improved visuals, and unlocked framerates. Days Gone is set to arrive on PC via Steam and Epic Games Store on May 18, 2021.

Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 6 Is Here

Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 6 is now live and with it comes animals, crafting, Lara Croft, Teen Titans Raven, and more. Wild animals now roam the areas and some are harmless like chickens, while some are predators such as wolves. There’s also a new crafting system in Season 6 which allows you to use the various animal parts you’ve hunted along with technology you’ve found to build new weapons. Kingdom Hearts Saga Comes To The Epic Games Store In March

 The entire Kingdom Hearts saga is coming to PC for the first time. This means that you can pre-purchase Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 Remix, Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter
Prologue, Kingdom Hearts III, and Kingdom Hearts Melody of Memory. Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 comes with six titles: Kingdom Hearts Final Mix, Kingdom Hearts Re: Chain of Memories, Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days (with HD Remastered cinematics), Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix, Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep Final Mix, and Kingdom Hearts Re:coded (with HD Remastered cinematics). The entire Kingdom Hearts franchise comes to the Epic Games Store on March 30.

Epic Games Hold A Spring Showcase And Sale On Thursday

Epic Games is holding a Spring Showcase, which will feature announcements, gameplay footage and extended looks at games. The showcase will stream on the company’s Twitch channel at 2PM ET on Thursday, February 11th. Epic is also running a Showcase Sale with discounts on several games, starting at 11AM ET on the same day.

Death Stranding Coming To PC In June, Half-Life Crossover Content For Steam

Kojima Productions and 505 Games have announced the news, Death Stranding is coming to PC on June 2 via both Steam and the Epic Games Store. The PC version features a photo mode, higher frame rate caps, and ultra-wide screen support. Also it'll have Half-Life crossover content for the Steam version.

Anyone who pre-orders Death Stranding on PC will get a Chiral Gold and Omnireflector cap, sunglasses, gold and silver speed skeleton, and gold and silver armor plate. However, all PC purchases will also get the following:

• Selections from ‘The Art of DEATH STRANDING’ digital art book (by Titan Books)
• Death Stranding Original Score Expanded Edition by Ludvig Forsell (including 10 unreleased tracks)
• Ludens mask sunglasses (chiral gold and omnireflector)
• Gold and silver power skeleton
• Gold and silver all-terrain skeleton

Godfall Announced For PS5 And PC

During The Game Awards 2019, Gearbox Publishing and Counterplay Game announced Godfall, a new fantasy action RPG for PlayStation 5 and PC. Described as a "looter-slasher," Godfall makes use of intense third-person melee combat as players hunt for loot, equip armor, and defeat enemies. Godfall is coming to PlayStation 5 and PC via the Epic Games Store in Holiday 2020.

Stormtrooper Skin Now Available In Fortnite

In the latest cross-promotion in Fortnite, the Star Wars stormtrooper is the newest cosmetic skin for the game. The stormtrooper skin is strictly cosmetic, but can be obtained for free if you buy Jedi: Fallen Order via Epic Games Store. It's now available for a limited time (until November 30th) and costs 1,500 V-Bucks if purchased separately. More items could be coming, as it's described as "Part of the Original Trilogy set" in the Fortnite store.

Borderlands X Fortnite In Limited-Time Event

Borderlands is causing some mayhem to the world of Fortnite, bringing with it the Pandora Rift zone, Psycho cosmetic gear, a Claptrap pet, and more. The event runs until September 10, and Claptrap can be had as a pet via the Psycho Bundle, which also includes the Psycho Bandit outfit and Buzz Axes. The Psycho Bundle is free if you get any edition of Borderlands 3 at the Epic Games Store.

Tetris Effect Comes To PC Next Week

When Tetris Effect was released the game was exclusive to PlayStation 4 / PlayStation VR for all its virtual reality functionality. Now it has been announced that Tetris Effect is coming to PC via the Epic Games Store on July 23.

The PC version of Tetris Effect will support 4K resolution, graphical options that weren't present on the PlayStation 4, support for VR headsets like Vive and Rift, uncapped framerate, and more. 

The VR aspect will also have things like adjustable particle size and volume, texture filtering, and other options that Enhance Games will detail later. Check out the PC announcement trailer below.

Borderlands 3 Releases On September 13, Special Editions Announced + My Thoughts

Gearbox and Take-Two have confirmed that you’ll be about to go back to Pandora, and more, on September 13 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via the Epic Games Store (exclusive for 6 months). In addition to just the base game price, there will also be other versions including one that offers a Diamond Loot Chest.

In the Deluxe edition, you can get new head and body skins along with plenty of new skins for your weapons, XP and loot drop boosters, and the Toy Box weapon set included for $79.99. The Super Deluxe Edition comes with all that, plus the Borderlands 3 season pass for four DLC campaigns, and weapon skins for the legendary Butt Stallion for $99.99. It should be noted that his version will go up in price a few days after the game comes out.

As for the Diamond Loot Chest Collector's Edition, It’s an actual loot chest, and houses 10 collectible figures, a cloth map, vault keychains, and more. This one is exclusive to GameStop and will cost you about $250.

As previously stated, Borderlands 3 on PC will be exclusive to the Epic Games Store, but only until April 2020. If you're willing to wait, it should hit Steam around that time frame. We also got our first look at Borderlands 3's boxart, which is not a Psycho shooting themselves in the head with fingerguns, but is a cult like Psycho. A new trailer was also released and we got another look and names of are new characters. Moze (with a badass mech), beast master FL4K, spectral-fisted siren Amara, and gadget-focused Zane face off against the Calypso Twins, who've gained a cult following.

I'm excited for the game, but I'm not to thrilled about the whole Epic Store thing. I'm not in the camp that thinks that the Epic Game Store is bad, any new platform isn't going to be feature complete right out of the gate. People forget that Steam has 15 years over the Epic Store and it wasn't an over night success either. I'm just someone who likes all of my games in one place on PC, and Steam happens to be that place. Will I wait the 6 months to play Borderlands 3 ? I'm not sure as of writing this, but unlike others I'd be willing to give the Epic Games Store a shot. Thoughts ?   

Borderlands 3 Rumored Release Date And Epic Store

Last week Gearbox finally unveiled Borderlands 3. Although we got a trailer for the game, more info for the popular looter-shooter is said to come on April 3 and It looks like the cat might be out of the bad regarding the games release date. A tweet seemingly released far earlier than it should have been says the game is releasing in less than six months. In addition, the leaked trailer seems to confirm that Borderlands 3 on PC will be exclusive to the Epic Games Store. The official Borderlands account made the tweet today, which you can find on web archive, stating that "Mayhem is Coming September 13." It's then followed by a call to pre-order for the gold weapons pack and a small clip from last week's reveal trailer. In the corner of the trailer clip, it showed the logos for Gearbox Software, Take-Two Interactive, and Epic Games Store. A September release date makes since other games in the series have released around the same time. Borderlands 3 would be a big get for the Epic Store and would reinforce the statement of platform not mattering and gamers going to Epic for the games. Guess we’ll find out more info on April 3. Heavy Rain, Beyond: Two Souls, and Detroit: Become Human Coming To Epic Games Store

Quantic Dream and Epic Games have announced an exclusive partnership for the Epic Games Store to release the companies previously PlayStation-exclusive games on PC. Heavy Rain, Beyond: Two Souls, and last year's Detroit: Become Human will all be available on PC later this year exclusively through the Epic Games Store.

The exclusivity agreement will last for one year for each game. Quantic and Epic made the announcement during the Epic keynote presentation at GDC 2019.
