Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands: Coiled Captors DLC Is Available Now

Gearbox has already released the first DLC for Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands, which has been out for less than a month.

This DLC, titled Coiled Captors, appears to be focused on some type of snake creature that govern what happens in the new setting within the fleshy prison of the Mirror of Mystery. This new section appears to be very chilly, with plenty of frosty terrain and frost-covered monsters to battle. Coiled Captors is available now.

Two New Classed Detailed And More Info For Tiny Tina's Wonderlands

Tiny Tina's Wonderlands, Gearbox Software's upcoming fantasy looter shooter, has received more information, including two
new classes, new settings for players to play through, and more.

The Spellshot is the first new class to join the already-announced Stabbomancer and Brr-Zerker classes. “Gun-toting wizards who can unleash a constant barrage of spells and bullets and transform their enemies into harmless livestock with the snap of a finger,” according to the description. The Spellshot can also combine their weapon and grimoire to improve their spells and endow their weapons with new abilities.

The Clawbringer is the second new class. These are “faithful warriors who bring down thunder and flames upon their enemies with a spectral hammer alongside their fire-breathing Wyvern Companion.” They want to restore heroism to the Wonderlands, and their Dragon Aura gives their entire team increased damage and other benefits.

However, the new classes aren't the only item covered in today's release. The Weepwild Dankness, a forest-like location with countless mushrooms and trees, The Fearamid, a location where skeletons and the undead reside in every corridor, and Mount Craw, the home of goblins and towering trolls, are the three environments we'll be shooting through in Tiny Tina's Wonderlands.

Players can face these goblins, trolls, mushrooms, and more in Tiny Tina's Wonderlands alone or with up to three people. The more people in your group, the more difficult the opponents will be. In addition, players will have control over how item drops and enemy scaling are handled in multiplayer.

According to Gearbox, there are "millions of different guns to plunder in Wonderlands," with six categories of guns and six types of ammo. Fire, Frost, Lightning, Poison, and Dark Magic are the five different types of damage. Players can also use Wards, which imbue them with protecting magic, as well as rings and amulets that grant them various skills and qualities to aid them in battle. As you might expect from Gearbox's Borderlands franchise, all loot in the game will have varying levels of rarity. Tiny Tina's Wonderlands release on March 25, 2022.

Borderlands 3 Is Getting Two Big Content Updates In June

Borderlands 3 is getting two big content updates next month. On June 4, Takedown at the Guardian Breach is a new endgame gauntlet that sounds harder than previous takedowns. Like previous takedowns it’s a free update and you’ll be traveling to the planet of Minos Prime to uncover the source of a mysterious Guardian signal. The reconnaissance mission features new enemies, low-gravity platforming sections, environmental puzzles, and a deadly mini-boss and a wild final boss. Takedowns are meant to be played with four players, but it will scale to the number of players you have.mIf you survive, the rewards should be filled with sweet sweet loot, including themed-weapons, gear, and collectible cosmetics.

Then on June 25, comes the game's third DLC campaign, Bounty of Blood: A Fistful of Redemption. Here, you're placed in the all-new setting of Gehenna, a harsh desert, which happens to be the home of a vicious gang of bandits called The Devil Riders. The gang has been tormenting a small town called Vestige, putting a bounty on their head for you to claim. You'll also want to help fix the damage done by building the town back up to its former glory through story missions and crew challenges. Just think Borderlands: The Western.

Borderlands 3 Releasing On Steam This Week, Will Feature Cross-Play With Epic Games Store

As most of us known, Borderlands 3 was released last year exclusively on the Epic Games Store for PC. Now Borderlands 3 will hit Steam on March 13, 2020, and what’s more, it will feature cross-play between Steam and Epic Games Store.

Borderlands 3 DLC Guns, Love And Tentacles Coming In Late March

Borderlands 3's second story DLC will be called Guns, Love, and Tentacles: The Marriage of Wainwright & Hammerlock, it’s releasing on March 26.

Gearbox describes the story of "a surprisingly dangerous engagement party" for Sir Alistair Hammerlock and Wainwright Jakobs on the ice planet of Xylourgos. The DLC will take you to the town of Cursehaven, which is under the carcass of Vault Monster. The DLC will also add new legendary items, Class Mods and cosmetic items.

We also saw a content roadmap of free updates and events coming soon. In April, we'll get Mayhem 2.0, described as an overhaul to Borderlands 3's endgame by changing how Mayhem modifiers work.

In May, we'll get a second Takedown, this time called Guardian Takedown. Described as the most challenging content in the game, this endgame mission will be set around the mysterious Eridians, and offer new bosses, gear, and cosmetics. It will scale in difficulty based on your party, but features a True Takedown Mode, which allows a single player to take on the mission at the hardest difficulty.

Borderlands 2 Could Be Getting DLC Before Borderlands 3 Releases

Borderlands 3 doesn’t release until September, but it looks like we won’t have to wait until then to get some new Borderlands-related content.
According to PlayStation Lifestyle, according to an anonymous source, Gearbox is set to release new DLC for Borderlands 2, titled Commander Lilith and the Fight for Sanctuary. According to this source, the DLC will launch the week of E3 (E3 takes place from June 10-14). This DLC could help fill the gap between Borderlands 2 and Borderlands 3. Thoughts ?

UPDATE 6/6/2019 - Today, a Steam listing for the supposed DLC leaked called Commander Lillith and The Fight for Sanctuary. The listing has since been removed, but it revealed a number of details about what you can expect from the content, which will be free according to the listing:

Fight new bosses, explore new zones, get new loot (including an entirely new tier beyond Legendary) and join up with Lilith and the Crimson Raiders to take on a deranged villain hell-bent on ruling the planet.”

The DLC is set to go live on June 9, which is the day of Microsoft's press conference. So it’s safe to  say the DLC will be announced there. Thoughts ?

The new ECHOcast extension for Twitch will allow users watching a Borderlands 3 stream to look through the streamer’s loadout, inventory, and skill trees via an interactive overlay menu. Selecting a weapon or item will display all the same stats and characteristics you would normally see when hovering over an item in the game. The extension will also allow viewers to interact with special chests, when the streamer finds one, viewers are given a short amount of time to opt into the event. One participant will then be selected at random, and can choose a piece of loot contained in the chest, which they will then receive a copy of in their game. The Borderlands 3 Twitch extension launches on May 1. Borderlands 3 launches on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on September 13.

Borderlands 3 Rumored Release Date And Epic Store

Last week Gearbox finally unveiled Borderlands 3. Although we got a trailer for the game, more info for the popular looter-shooter is said to come on April 3 and It looks like the cat might be out of the bad regarding the games release date. A tweet seemingly released far earlier than it should have been says the game is releasing in less than six months. In addition, the leaked trailer seems to confirm that Borderlands 3 on PC will be exclusive to the Epic Games Store. The official Borderlands account made the tweet today, which you can find on web archive, stating that "Mayhem is Coming September 13." It's then followed by a call to pre-order for the gold weapons pack and a small clip from last week's reveal trailer. In the corner of the trailer clip, it showed the logos for Gearbox Software, Take-Two Interactive, and Epic Games Store. A September release date makes since other games in the series have released around the same time. Borderlands 3 would be a big get for the Epic Store and would reinforce the statement of platform not mattering and gamers going to Epic for the games. Guess we’ll find out more info on April 3. Thoughts ?

Gearbox Teasing A Borderlands Announcement At PAX East

Judging by a tweet from developer Gearbox, a Borderlands 3 revel could be on the horizon. The tweet shows a picture of a street sign presumably on Borderlands primarily-desert planet Pandora showing a date of March 28 and location of Boston, Massachusetts, the time and location of Gearbox's PAX East panel. The environment is stylized like Borderlands' cel-shaded style, with the sign saying exit 3.
We'll know for sure in a few weeks. Here’s hoping its actually Borderlands 3 and not a another remaster or something like that.

Borderlands Dev Gearbox Promising A Big Reveal During PAX East Panel

The schedule for PAX East's panels has been revealed, and one of those panels is from Gearbox, the developer behind games like Borderlands and Battleborn, promising "never-before-seen reveals" on stage at the panel. Speculation is rampant that this could finally be the reveal for Borderlands 3.
The third game in the series has been long-anticipated as Gearbox has not released a numbered Borderlands title since 2012. Take-Two has also announced that they delayed a "highly-anticipated shooter" into fiscal year 2020. Could that game be Borderlands 3 ? Guess we’ll find out at PAX East.

Borderlands 2 VR Coming To PSVR In December

Looks like we’re heading back to Pandora once again with Borderlands 2 VR on December 14 with PSVR. Unfortunately, the title doesn't feature co-op, but developer Gearbox has tweaked some of the co-op aspects of the original to suit this game's single-player design. For example, in Borderlands 2 VR players can simultaneously drive a vehicle (using the PlayStation Move motion controllers) and aim its guns (using the headset).

Battleborn Receiving Its Final Update This Fall

Battleborn wasn’t nearly as popular as its competitors, but it's been receiving regular content updates and changes. Now Gearbox is stopping active development for the game.
Speaking on the official Gearbox forums, Battleborn creative director Randy Varnell made the announcement that "there will be no more Battleplans and there is currently no planned content after the Fall Update," Varnell said. After that update, which adds Borderlands-themed characters skins, balance changes, and a new multiplayer map, the Battleborn team will shift over to working on Gearbox's next, unannounced game. "Although I’m sad my time on Battleborn is coming to a close, I’m happy to announce that I will play a significant role on this highly anticipated but unannounced game," Varnell said. "I’m sure you’ll be hearing some from me again in the future regarding Gearbox games."

Although it will not be receiving further updates, Battleborn servers will remain active "for the foreseeable future," according to Varnell.
