Marvel’s Midnight Suns Is A Tactical Role-Playing Game Coming In March 2022

Marvel’s Midnight Suns is coming in March 2022 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch and PC. Some gameplay footage has been released.

Marvel’s Midnight Suns is a tactical role-playing game, that will not have micro-transactions or loot boxes. Each game match starts with an attack on the Sanctum. You’ll have 3 team mates, and each battle will average around 10 to 15 minutes. There are mission types that include “Protection”, “Rescue Targets”, and “Capture VIP”. You play as “The Hunter”, a customizable superhero that, created specifically for this game, has light and dark powers, the former of which include support and health abilities.

As for the cards, there are multiple types, including Basic, Attack and Support, that are included in a deck. At the start of the battle, the deck gets shuffled, and you can change up your deck before each fight. Every hero has their own set of cards, and players will be able to play 3 cards each round. If you kill an enemy with a certain card, that card can enable you to get more cards.

There are even some powerful cards, called “Heroics cards”, that use their own currency resource known as “Heroism”. These can inflict lots of damage and offer bonus effects. For example, Doctor Strange can deal lots of damage to a single enemy and apply a debuff, and Iron Man can get an area-of-effect for everyone on the screen that does a small amount of damage. The game even lets you deal damage by using the environment to your advantage.

As for the heroes, there are a lot, but the footage from IGN showed off some of them. Blade has a damage-per-second card set containing bleed and life-leech cards. Ghost Rider’s card set is a wild card, where attacks can potentially damage himself and his teammates. Captain America has a card set that is damage-per-second and tank. A support card deck, meanwhile, belongs to Doctor Strange.

There is also interactions with characters. You can do that by going to the hub and talking to them. As the character’s friendship with you builds, you will also unlock passive abilities and combos. Eventually, you can max out the character’s friendship with you, and this will allow you to build that character’s midnight suit. Doing so unlocks the hero’s legendary ability, called “The Midnight Sun”. Every hero has one. The gameplay footage can be seen down below.

You’ll take on rival gangs and probably the authorities too to hustle to the top and claim ownership of the city, Santo Illeso. Tiny Tina Gets Her Own Borderlands Fantasy Spin Off, Tiny Tina's Wonderlands

UPDATE - Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands releases on March 25, 2022 on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC. A gameplay reveal trailer has been added to the bottom on the article.

Tiny Tina is getting her own Borderlands spin off with Tiny Tina's Wonderlands. Players get to explore a fantasy-based world
brought to life by Tiny Tina. Players can create and customize their own multi-class heroes as they fight their way through dungeons, battling monsters with a combination of Borderlands-style weaponry and traditional fantasy weapons like swords. On top of the story itself, players can expect repeatable endgame content that hopes to bring players back for more time and time again.

"Wonderlands is a culmination of over a decade of on-and-off development at Gearbox Software towards a role-playing shooter set in a fantasy universe," Gearbox Entertainment founder and executive producer of Tiny Tina's Wonderlands Randy Pitchford said in a press release. "For me, bringing actual Borderlands guns to fight dragons, skeletons, goblins, and more in an original fantasy world imagined by the galaxy's deadliest 13-year-old, Tiny Tina, as a new, full-featured triple-A video game is a dream come true."

Players must work together to take down the evil Dragon Lord, voiced by Will Arnett (Arrested Development, BoJack Horseman). Arnett isn't the only celebrity actor in the game, as the headstrong captain Valentine is voiced by Andy Samberg (Saturday Night Live, Hot Rod), a robot named Frette is voiced by Wanda Sykes (Curb Your Enthusiasm, The Upshaws), and of course, the headlining character, Tiny Tina, is voiced by her longtime voice actress Ashly Burch.

Tiny Tina's Wonderlands comes to PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC in early 2022.

PlayStation 5 And Xbox Series X Version Of NBA 2K21 Will Cost $69.99

2K has revealed a suggested retail price for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X version of NBA 2K21 at $69.99. This appears to be the first instance of an upcoming next-gen title listing its price.
We'll have to wait and see if other publishers follow suit. Will 2K be an outlier or is this the new norm for video game pricing ?

Borderlands 3 Is Getting Two Big Content Updates In June

Borderlands 3 is getting two big content updates next month. On June 4, Takedown at the Guardian Breach is a new endgame gauntlet that sounds harder than previous takedowns. Like previous takedowns it’s a free update and you’ll be traveling to the planet of Minos Prime to uncover the source of a mysterious Guardian signal. The reconnaissance mission features new enemies, low-gravity platforming sections, environmental puzzles, and a deadly mini-boss and a wild final boss. Takedowns are meant to be played with four players, but it will scale to the number of players you have.mIf you survive, the rewards should be filled with sweet sweet loot, including themed-weapons, gear, and collectible cosmetics.

Then on June 25, comes the game's third DLC campaign, Bounty of Blood: A Fistful of Redemption. Here, you're placed in the all-new setting of Gehenna, a harsh desert, which happens to be the home of a vicious gang of bandits called The Devil Riders. The gang has been tormenting a small town called Vestige, putting a bounty on their head for you to claim. You'll also want to help fix the damage done by building the town back up to its former glory through story missions and crew challenges. Just think Borderlands: The Western.

Mafia Trilogy News Coming May 19, Possible Remake For Mafia And Mafia II [UPDATE]

UPDATE 7/9/20 - Developer Hangar 13 explains that the delay has been caused by difficulties caused by working amid the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. A statement says that "finalizing everything in time for that launch date has become increasingly challenging", and "the last thing we want to do is compromise the quality of the experience." Hangar 13 will show an extended look at Mafia: Definitive Edition gameplay on July 22.

UPDATE 5/19/20 - Mafia II and Mafia III are available right now, and the original Mafia (which is a remake) is scheduled for August 28.
The Mafia II and Mafia III definitive editions are available today digitally on PS4, Xbox One, and Steam for $30 each, but you can also get them bundled for $60 total. It should also be noted that if you already own Mafia III on steam, then it’ll automatically be upgraded to the definitive edition for free.

Original story - Publisher 2K and developer Hangar 13 released a teaser trailer that unveils Mafia Trilogy.
This series, beginning with the original Mafia in 2002, offers a gritty look at the world of organized crime over the course of three games, each one featuring a different protagonist. You can see these characters, like Vito Scaletta and Lincoln Clay in the trailer.
However, a pair of product pages appeared on the Microsoft Store for Mafia: Definitive Edition and Mafia II: Definitive Edition. Beyond that, the screenshots on the page for Mafia: Definitive Edition highlight the visual overhaul, which represents a major step up from the original.

If the listing information is correct, the definitive edition of Mafia II is launching on May 19 (the same day the teaser trailer promised more news). Mafia: Definitive Edition appears to be hitting on August 27 or 28 – the page lists both dates in different places. Guess we’ll just have to wait until May 19 to see what 2K announces.

Borderlands 3 Releasing On Steam This Week, Will Feature Cross-Play With Epic Games Store

As most of us known, Borderlands 3 was released last year exclusively on the Epic Games Store for PC. Now Borderlands 3 will hit Steam on March 13, 2020, and what’s more, it will feature cross-play between Steam and Epic Games Store.

Borderlands 3 DLC Guns, Love And Tentacles Coming In Late March

Borderlands 3's second story DLC will be called Guns, Love, and Tentacles: The Marriage of Wainwright & Hammerlock, it’s releasing on March 26.

Gearbox describes the story of "a surprisingly dangerous engagement party" for Sir Alistair Hammerlock and Wainwright Jakobs on the ice planet of Xylourgos. The DLC will take you to the town of Cursehaven, which is under the carcass of Vault Monster. The DLC will also add new legendary items, Class Mods and cosmetic items.

We also saw a content roadmap of free updates and events coming soon. In April, we'll get Mayhem 2.0, described as an overhaul to Borderlands 3's endgame by changing how Mayhem modifiers work.

In May, we'll get a second Takedown, this time called Guardian Takedown. Described as the most challenging content in the game, this endgame mission will be set around the mysterious Eridians, and offer new bosses, gear, and cosmetics. It will scale in difficulty based on your party, but features a True Takedown Mode, which allows a single player to take on the mission at the hardest difficulty.

Borderlands 3 Releases On September 13, Special Editions Announced + My Thoughts

Gearbox and Take-Two have confirmed that you’ll be about to go back to Pandora, and more, on September 13 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via the Epic Games Store (exclusive for 6 months). In addition to just the base game price, there will also be other versions including one that offers a Diamond Loot Chest.
In the Deluxe edition, you can get new head and body skins along with plenty of new skins for your weapons, XP and loot drop boosters, and the Toy Box weapon set included for $79.99. The Super Deluxe Edition comes with all that, plus the Borderlands 3 season pass for four DLC campaigns, and weapon skins for the legendary Butt Stallion for $99.99. It should be noted that his version will go up in price a few days after the game comes out.
As for the Diamond Loot Chest Collector's Edition, It’s an actual loot chest, and houses 10 collectible figures, a cloth map, vault keychains, and more. This one is exclusive to GameStop and will cost you about $250.
As previously stated, Borderlands 3 on PC will be exclusive to the Epic Games Store, but only until April 2020. If you're willing to wait, it should hit Steam around that time frame. We also got our first look at Borderlands 3's boxart, which is not a Psycho shooting themselves in the head with fingerguns, but is a cult like Psycho. A new trailer was also released and we got another look and names of are new characters. Moze (with a badass mech), beast master FL4K, spectral-fisted siren Amara, and gadget-focused Zane face off against the Calypso Twins, who've gained a cult following.
I'm excited for the game, but I'm not to thrilled about the whole Epic Store thing. I'm not in the camp that thinks that the Epic Game Store is bad, any new platform isn't going to be feature complete right out of the gate. People forget that Steam has 15 years over the Epic Store and it wasn't an over night success either. I'm just someone who likes all of my games in one place on PC, and Steam happens to be that place. Will I wait the 6 months to play Borderlands 3 ? I'm not sure as of writing this, but unlike others I'd be willing to give the Epic Games Store a shot. Thoughts ?

Looks Like NBA 2K18 Won’t Have Amiibo Support On Nintendo Switch

A 2K Sports representative has officially announced that the Nintendo Switch version of NBA 2K18 will not feature support for amiibo figures. This confirmation comes after previous reports that suggested otherwise, which apparently stemmed from the upcoming game’s Japanese site. NBA 2K18 is set to launch on September 19 across multiple platforms, including Nintendo’s latest console. Features include offering players the ability to create their MyPlayer and develop their own NBA journey in the MyCareer mode.

NBA 2K18 For Nintendo Switch Will Have Amiibo Support And Will Be Fully Featured

According to US Gamer the Nintendo Switch version of NBA 2K18 will include amiibo support and will also have exactly the same content as the PlayStation 4 version of the game, so there’s no corners being cut on the Nintendo Switch version. This is encouraging to see and makes me wonder if this will help the game sell. Thoughts ?
