Bioshock For iOS Has Been Removed From The App Store

The mobile version of BioShock has been removed from the App Store due to the game not being compatibility with the latest OS. 2K has said that the removal of BioShock's iOS port is not permanent, so no worries to those who enjoyed the game on the go. Heres what 2K said in a statement to IGN: "BioShock is currently incompatible with iOS versions 8.4 and higher, and as such, is temporarily removed for purchase from the App Store." "2K is fixing the compatibility issue, and when resolved, will place BioShock back on the App Store for purchase. Customers who already own BioShock may continue playing the game with iOS version 8.3 or earlier. 2K regrets the initial customer service error and looks forward to delivering an updated version of BioShock for iOS in the near future." It should be noted that 2K did not specify when the updated version of BioShock will be available to download again from the App Store. We will update this store if any more info is known.

Is There Going To Be A BioShock Collection ? [UPDATE] Officially Announced

A South African retailer has listed the BioShock Collection for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The alleged collection has a release date set for November 27, 2015. The collection has not been revealed by 2K Games at this time, so we must take this listing with the grain of salt. If this is true then this will be a collection that I would definitely be interested in purchasing. What do you think ? Who you want to purchase the BioShock Collection ? Are you tired of collections and remastered ?

UPDATE 6/29/16 - Thanks to a leak on 2K's official site, an official announcement for the collection could be coming soon. Several images were hosted on 2K's site, which showcase the game's cover art.

UPDATE 6/30/16 - Well that was fast. The BioShock Collection will include all 3 games, BioShock, BioShock 2, and BioShock Infinite, as well as all of the single-player DLC. The full bundle includes:

  • BioShock with director’s commentary from Ken Levine, a virtual museum of discarded concepts, and challenge rooms
  • BioShock 2 with Minerva’s Den and Protector Trials
  • BioShock Infinite with Columbia’s Finest pack, Clash in the Clouds, and both parts of the Burial at Sea story

Only the first 2 games will be remastered in the PC version. If you already own BioShock, BioShock 2, and Minerva's Den, you'll get the upgraded versions for free. The console versions will run at 1080p and 60 frames per second. BioShock: The Collection will be out for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on September 13 for $59.99.

BioShock Infinite: The Complete Edition is set to release on November 4 for $39.99 on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. 2K hasn't confirmed the contents of the game, but I wouldn’t be surprised if this edition will include the game and all of its DLC.
