Apple Releases macOS 10.12.6, watchOS 3.2.3 And tvOS 10.2.2

Besides Apple releasing iOS 10.3.3, the company has also released macOS 10.12.6, watchOS 3.2.3 and tvOS 10.2.2 can be downloaded and installed immediately. There are no known feature changes to any of the operating systems, most likely, these are updates for performance and security.  

Apple Releases macOS Sierra 10.12.3

Apple has updated macOS Sierra to version 10.12.3, recommending the update for all users. Owners of the October, 2016 MacBook Pros will find that the update provides some fixes for their devices. The update also provides a fix for a bug that prevented the searching of scanned PDF documents in Preview. The update can be found in the Mac App Store under Updates. 

Apple Releases macOS Sierra 10.12.2

Apple has released macOS Sierra 10.12.2. It’s available free as a download at the Mac App Store. Here’s whats included in the update:

• Improves setup and reliability of Auto Unlock;
• Allows addition of a Chinese Trackpad Handwriting button to the Touch Bar Control Strip;
• Adds support for taking screenshots of the Touch Bar using the Grab app or Cmd-Shift-6 shortcut;
• Fixes an issue that caused the Touch Bar emoji picker to appear on the display;
• Resolves graphics issues on MacBook Pro (October 2016) computers;
• Fixes an issue where System Integrity Protection was disabled on some MacBook Pro (October 2016) computers;
• Improves setup and opt-out experience for iCloud Desktop and Documents;
• Fixes an issue with the delivery of Optimized Storage alerts;
• Improves audio quality when using Siri and FaceTime with Bluetooth headphones;
• Improves the stability of Photos when creating and ordering books;
• Fixes an issue where incoming Mail messages did not appear when using a Microsoft Exchange account;
• Fixes an issue that prevented installation of Safari Extensions downloaded outside the Safari Extensions Gallery;
• Adds support for new installations of Windows 8 and Windows 7 using Boot Camp on supported Macs.

Apple Pay Is Now Available In Spain

Apple announced that Apple Pay is now available in Spain. According to Apple's regional website, Apple Pay in Spain will initially support cards from partner institutions Banco Santander, Carrefour, Ticket Restaurant and American Express. As with past international introductions, Apple Pay partner Mastercard is opening up its vast payments network for the Spanish debut. Apple Pay works with the iPhone SE and higher along with the Apple Watch. When paying within apps, Apple Pay is compatible with the iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus, iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, iPad Air 2, iPad mini 3, iPad mini 4 and iPad Pro. Apple Pay is also macOS Sierra compatible.

macOS Sierra 10.12.1 Includes Images Of Rumored “Magic Toolbar”

According to MacRumors, macOS Sierra 10.12.1 includes hidden Apple Pay images that depict a MacBook Pro with an OLED touch panel that will debut at Apple’s “hello, again” media event on October 27. The images confirm the “Magic Toolbar”, an OLED touch bar that change its appearance and present virtual buttons to users based on the app or task at hand. In the images, Apple Pay dialog is depicted, asking a customer to confirm a purchase with a finger on the panel. Apparently, Touch ID is built directly into the OLED panel. We’ll learn more about this toolbar during Apples media event tomorrow. Thoughts ?

Apple Released macOS Sierra 10.12.1

Apple has released macOS Sierra 10.12.1. It can be downloaded from the Software Update function in the Mac App Store. Here’s the patch notes for macOS Sierra 10.1.2:

• Adds an automatic smart album in Photos for Depth Effect images taken on iPhone 7 Plus 
• Improves the compatibility of Microsoft Office when using iCloud Desktop and Documents
• Fixes an issue that may prevent Mail from updating when using a Microsoft Exchange account 
• Fixes an issue that caused text to sometimes paste incorrectly when using Universal Clipboard 
• Improves reliability of Auto Unlock with Apple Watch
•  Improves security and stability in Safari.

Apple Releases Betas For macOS Sierra 10.12.1, iOS 10.1, watchOS 3.1 And tvOS 10.0.1

Apple has released the first developer beta for version macOS Sierra 10.12.1, iOS 10.1, watchOS 3.1, and tvOS 10.0.1. Apple has also released public betas for macOS Sierra 10.12.1 and iOS 10.1. It's expected that all of these betas are primarily bug-fix versions of the first releases, although early testers are already reporting that iOS 10.1 features a beta version of the highly-anticipated Portrait mode in Photos for owners of the iPhone 7 Plus. Portrait mode uses photos captured by both iPhone 7 Plus cameras to create a "depth map" of an image, then applies a Gaussian blur to any items out of the plane of focus to create a "faux bokeh" effect. This is perfect for shooting portraits where you want a person or thing to be the focal point of your image, hence the name "portrait mode".  

Apple Releases Gold Masters For iOS 10 And macOS Sierra

Apple has released the “golden master” public betas of macOS Sierra and iOS 10 for public beta testers. For those that don’t know, a golden master is a final version of software ready for release to the public. iOS 10 is set to release on Tuesday, September 13 and macOS Sierra is set to release on Tuesday, September 20.

Apple Announces Media Event For September 7

Apple has sent out invitations to a media event that will be held on Wednesday September 7, 10 AM PDT at Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco. We’ll likely see what the next iPhone is (the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus) and what it has to offer. Besides the iPhone we may see more info iOS 10, MacOS Sierra and Watch OS 3. Weather other products get upgrades and or new products get announced remain to be seen. What do you think ?  

iOS 10 And macOS Sierra Public Betas Are Now Available [UPDATE A Second Public Beta Has Been Released For Each OS]

Apple has opened the public beta program for iOS 10 and macOS Sierra to get more feedback on bugs and features from a larger number of users. If you're not already signed up for the public beta program, you can do so here. It should be noted that Beta means that not all advertised features are functional like in the official release current releases and  you may bugs that you'll want to report. It should also be noted that you should NEVER install beta OS versions on your primary devices. Tt's recommended that you should only install the beta software if you have secondary Macs or iOS devices for testing.
